I just did a 45 lap Nashville race. I got wrecked but was able to change the car setup during the pit. I adjusted the wedge and my car handled SO much better after that. The game will not let you change any setup before the race which is stupid.

It seems more and more to me that when they started trying to mod this game from rfactor and tried to add in the more arcade type elements to the game ie.. no driver control under caution,cutscenes for pit stops is when the code went wonky on them and started creating all of these bugs. If they would have just left this game as a pure sim, which this rfactor driving engine is built on, I think we would have a lot less of these bugs.

Bad AI = Bad game. Most of the community all agreed that the AI would make or break this game, and it most certainly has broken this game. Nobody was rooting harder for Motorsports Games to deliver, and even going in i was grading them on the proverbial "first game" curve, but this AI is atrocious. I don't blame the guys working on the game, i blame the management for rushing this game out the door when they KNEW it was broken and unfinished. I'm sick and tired of people claiming that consumers who complain about this garbage are just "haters". This is why we keep getting broken and unfinished games.

The very first thing this company did was get on the stock market and get investors........all they care about is money and screwing over their development teams. The upper management is 100% the issue here......they probably even told them to just abandon this game and start on the next one so they can release early next year to make money off of selling monthly DLC.

I think that lap counter showed 52 because you were two laps down. Noticed this on a race i did too. I had a race at Miami at 50% and wasn't that bad. Started 35 and finished 25. Then tried with same settings ( medium steering assist only, veteran) on a short track and the Ai was terrible. Very easy to pass them all one by one even in champion difficulty.

Millad I'm sorry, I really appreciate these videos but this game is just so far from acceptable. It's been well over a month since release and after playing this version, it just seems like MSG isn't taking this game seriously. I'm on PC and because practically nobody plays online on PC, I strictly play offline and it's still just absolutely unacceptable. The lack of communication with their fanbase is awful, and from personal experience, when they do communicate it's with shallow, robotic answers as if they're going out of their way to avoid making any more promises. As a consumer, I've lost faith in this game and MSG. I hope they prove me wrong, but I've uninstalled Ignition and lost all excitement for their BTCC and Indycar games. I bought the Champions Edition and I still feel like I'm owed about $80 worth of content that they will obviously never fulfill. I appreciate the patience you have with this game, I just can't do it anymore when I already have Heat 5, F1 2021 and Dolphin Emulator. Thanks for the videos man, you're a real trooper.

Idealy what the devs should do is add multiple lines for the AI to follow and program them to make decisions on which track to follow based on wear, grip, etc. On top of that each track should have custom lines made to that tracks realistic expectations. An example would be like kansas having AI run the top while others bottom feed. This will also help spread the cars out much more. Lastly they should have an unpredictability factor with AI where they would be expected to do one thing but the AI would actually make a mistake. This happened on nascar chase for the cup all the time and the old thunder games too. Helps keep the game fun, and from being like heat where you go around in circles passing mindlessly for 30 minutes.

Even just riding the bumper of the car in front of you at a super speedway like Daytona will damn near vibrate the controller shake out of your hand. It needs to be be scaled back quite a bit. Also with this new patch, at road courses I've noticed the car doesn't want to turn, at least for Xbox. Still will randomly jump to the right when restarting after a caution. And no mirror!

The lap counter is a huge issue for me. Half the time I can't finish my career races properly as the laps just keep counting. Extremely annoying however I applaud Motorsport Games for the current patches.

At 18:30 when you listed tracks. I would have similar issues (Michigan, Bristol) and ease (Vegas and Kansas) in heat 5. The rear slides out majorly on me at those tracks in heat so I think it’s a track issue in both games.

For the rear stability issue I think the worst track for that is Charlotte. Even on the tightest setup you should be stable but after 3 laps you can’t get through the turn with out loosing control

It's having steering assist turned off......the car is not drivable with steering assist off. The physics become very loose and unstable....thats why he wrecks when he barely touches an AI car.

The AI make such weird movements because it's designed for Rfactor road courses with types of cars that are very different from stock cars, open wheel cars being the most different. I think they wiggle like that because the ai are coded like that to try and avoid rubbing tires in any circumstance since Rfactor is designed to be a road course driving simulator. It's Ai was never really great even on road courses which the game was designed around. Expecting to be able to tweak the driving model to be able to have stock cars handle realistically? That makes sense. Expecting to be able to just take the AI AND that model and just thinking it will port over great onto tracks it wasn't designed for together? I don't understand what they were thinking. This game actually needed another year of development time for something like that to be done in any passable way

Rfactor 2 has stock cars from 2015 with xfinity and cup physics.....they specifically did 2015 because those cars were the last to have 850hp and handle good. There are ovals added in by modders and the cars feel great. They took the 2015 stock car physics and updated them to how these new cars actually feel for N21. The unfortunate part is that there's no way to adjust the car to feel better besides limited pit options and that's not very helpful at all. The preset setups are also useless....they all feel the same to me.
