I hate what drugs have done to our people..and no matter how big we are...we can NEVER shake it. There's a lot of rappers been dying from drug addiction. And you would think ..with all that money, they would have sense enough to have friends who can administer CPR, or a least follow the instructions over the phone. Lil Peep and Juice World didn't have to die...but none of their friends knew what to do in case of an emergency, hell they didn't even have NARCAN..which is known to resurrect a person from the dead..but again...all that money...you think they know better.

Not sure just what the hype is about getting faded but it need's to stop period! All the fame and fortune in the world won't save them if they refuse to understand that the drug's will eventually kill them. Instead of criticism, be praying for them. @Belltown Daisy No one was born into this world asking to be a drug addict though. There are many circumstances as to why people develop addictions. I think a lot of is begins with recreational use, pain meds, trauma, etc, etc. Either or, it's seriously sad to see.

I grew up and lived in a city where crack ravaged the city that I grew up in, Heroin too and I had to take my daughter and leave so no one can tell me to live in the midst of it cuz I've been there. Most of the people I grew up with where mostly everyone either died from drug's or AID's. I try not to judge but I do understand how it must have affected your daily life and no one should have to live surrounded by this kind of lifestyle. Addiction is a denial that most addicts never admit to until they've literally ruined their lives and those who love them. It's avery sad situation all around. Glad you got out though. 😇

Born and Raised in STL, Nelly was the first one to put us in the map! I graduated the same year Nelly’s first album dropped and the following year, The STL RAMS won the superbowl!(2000) STL was hot, but Nelly was hotter!! It’s sad to see how far he has fell from grace, especially since he has always been kind of wholesome, compared to most rappers. My city is drug infested just like most of the US, and crime ridden, in certain parts, so it’s sad to see him achieve so much, just to fall victim to SA. Being from STL I was excited to see a hometown boi make it but as time went on we began to see his true colors.
