Күн бұрын

This week on the New Detective the police pursue the killer of a young mother in Maine for 20 years, waiting for technology to match their perseverance. A student disappears on his way to class, whilst a ransom is demanded, is it a kidnapping? A con game? or something far more sinister. The detectives in Washington state must out smart a killer who knows their every move.

When murderer was younger he killed his wife was sentenced to 75 years and was released after ONLY 12 years. 12 years for murder? you kidding me? The parents of the girl should have sued the state for allowing a murderer free to kill again.

The narrator says, "Sgt. Matt Bachmeier was an officer who knew how to hide evidence". Investigators later found his valuables hidden in his back shed including his cherished bowling trophies and then there was of course the huge bloodstain in his car. This cop was certainly a genius mastermind who knew all the tricks to evade detection. Yeah right.

You know, that is an excellent thought/idea. Perhaps there should be stipulations attached to approved paroles. ie. Those members on the parole board that voted for parole of someone who then commits a violent crime against another person, has to, themselves, serve a set period of time in prison. The same with lenient judges.

Cougar Mountain was also where Bundy left some victim's, the two girls he took from Lake Sammamish on the same day. Cougar Mountain was also where we'd go horseback riding far into the mountain, following old logging roads. Bundy also killed my friends older sister, Linda Healy, taking her from her basement room. Years later, when I realized where we'd been riding, that nobody really knew where we were and Laura's sister being murdered by Ted Bundy, that Cougar Mountain was his favorite dumping place, well, words aren't enough to describe what I felt!!!! Washington state is crazy town, lot's of desolate places to lose something you don't want found!

Bachmeier had killed beore: "Eight years before Wren’s murder, Bachmeier shot and killed Guadalupe Rios, 32, whom Bachmeier claimed had tried to kill him. A 1988 coroner’s inquest jury found that shooting justified-self defense-though witnesses unheard by the jury have since claimed Bachmeier planted Rios’ gun (see “License to kill,” SW, 11/4/99). “I called him a murderer at the inquest,” says Olmstead, who represented Rios’ family back then as well. “He was an executioner, and the county swept it under the rug.” Though Bachmeier was never prosecuted for that shooting, officials last week revealed the county has paid Rios’ family a $20,000 settlement.'
