If your company offers this bundle, include it with the solar at a fixed rate lower or close to what they’re currently paying so it doesn’t go up. "You get to knock out two birds with one stone that you’re just throwing at the electric company every month. With solar, you keep your stones so you can build your castle." Make the customer's needs or thoughts feel valued and offer a solution.

The real scam is staying with the utility company. Solar provides an ROI, staying with your utility company does not. The panels are only worth how much the electricity they produce costs, as these costs increase the panels value does as well. I suggest you learn more about solar before you take such a derogatory stance.

But most of these companies are locking homeowners into 20+ year agreement for payments that in almost every case cannot be transferred to a new owner. So ultimately many homeowners are hoodwinked into a discount on utilities in exchange for tens of thousands of dollars paid to solar companies over the course of decades that is almost impossible to get out of. Yeah I think I’ll pay an extra $20 a month to stay out of these “deals” 🤣

Except it adds no equity and has no ROI, oh and the government doesn't fucking pay you to stay. LOL. You're misguided. The loan is easily transferable, literally requires a 640 credit score but why the fuck would anyone do that? You wrap it into the overall price of the house because you have a house with no power bill. Monetary and emotional added value.

I'm in the solar industry, and the tactics used in this video are frustrating to watch. Clearly this individual presents himself as if he is with TECO or the state of FL. Following up on a "notice for the net metering power program" (which is not a thing or shown to the homeowner for reference), a "drone survey" of the area (which is not being done by anyone other than an installer for potential customers who are already interested) or to see if people "qualify for the program" is utter rubbish. What program? Any homeowner with a healthy, southern facing roof can add solar to their home and participate in an available net metering program. There is no "qualification". I'd bet the "program" is a third-party power purchase agreement or solar lease if not a high interest, long term loan. I respect the hustle, and I'm sure it bring him success, but this is part of the reason folks are skeptical of solar.
