Bedstuy is where I lived (for school) 2018-2023, I miss it achingly. Now I'm back home across the globe and this episode really brought me back for a brief moment to the streets, the trees, the front yards with garbage bins. Thank you❤

Thank you for putting your show on KZbin! I always loved your show on the Travel Channel. Your mix of history and modern day makes me want to visit all of these places. I’m such a fan! 😊 and only you could make a polluted river sound interesting. 😂

If you would do another episode in Brooklyn, I'd suggest sunset park (not just the park but the neighborhood) and maybe coney island! Full of fond memories 🥰

I was born in queens just next door and Brooklyn has come a long way! Thanks for taking us along.😊 also my fifth great grandfather was a captain in that battle also known as battle of Long Island. He was a friend of general George Washington. Details in the Elizabeth town library. Name was Rev Thomas Morrell.

We’ve loved you, Sam, since you were on “Great Vacation Homes.” That’s why it’s so disappointing to see you smile and be happy when you should be so ashamed of the condition of the Gowanus canal. It’s not something to smile about or laugh off. Why would someone be “proud of that grit?” I realize this is an old show from 2018, but you could have edited out your laughs and smiles about something so horrible. Is this sewage canal a legacy you want to pass on to your children? I understand they have started to work on it, but your attitude toward pollution in this country has to change.

Hi. I think you misunderstood that scene. It was then and still now being cleaned up. I know it is taking a long time and is a very complex process but that is all better than leaving it alone like it was. I'm happy its being cleaned up and hope they do a good job
