I can’t believe how ahead of the game he was with switch 360 flips, switch kick flips. I also recently rewatched Video Days and realized a lot of his part was switch. I didn’t even notice when I watched it years ago.

Mara Santo Domingo lol... actually Gonz seems to put his foot closer to the center of the board imo. Seems a lot of the newer guys do them much closer to the bolts so I would almost say it’s the opposite? He puts them far up on his switch ones, but most everyone does that for switch flips. In any case, I would not say “everyone” from the new or old school flicks like Mark. The one over the street planter in this is a prime example. One of my fav sequences ever and imo there is no other kickflip like it.
