Had to know so I googled it . That is the federal coach emblem . They do hearse conversions on Cadillacs . The roof line does look similar . That thing looks like a truck a 5th grader drew as a dream car then got rich and built it

The 5th gear bolt rotates the wrong direction for the threads on the bolt. Eventually that gear will spin off. Go in and retap it for a left handed thread then it will never come off again

My 2nd gen 5 speed had the 5th gear backoff i call it. Plus, the previous owner shifted like he was on a bucking bronco and exploded several gears... $1500 later its good to go. Btw stacks done right especially like that roll equal coal and sound great!

THat thing sounds and looks like its been turned up, A little bit a timing, injector and some pump work and you can really get some power out them 5.9's, power driven diesel has been doing crazy things with them.

My folks had one the first year i believe they came out with the Cummins motor. The big gas motors would pass them on the flats but in the mountains pulling a 38 or 39ft 5th wheel they would pass the gas trucks.

Y'all are doing some cool stuff to this "Rodeo" pick em up truck. It sure is different with the 3 doors, that is fer sure. So did the top end really help when it gets stuck in 5th? Or is it synchros that prob needs to be the next step on the transmission? Mine is getting stuck in 5th as well just ordered my kit..but in mine you have to hold it in 1st gear as well so I ordered a full overhaul kit too

Slight correction from 3:37 when you called it transmission fluid, since manual transmissions take gear oil due to gear oil creating less wear on the synchros adding to more power transfer while being able to create less drag. That also explains why it looked so nasty when you drained it.
