I just found your videos and you are doing probably the most extensive, real world comparisons of camo patterns. One thing I like to do is wear different patterns on top and bottom, especially if I'm hunting on the ground. I will wear either a brown or grey base camo pants and a mostly green based camo on the top. This seems to better match the brush types I'm usually hunting around here in southern Georgia.

I appreciate that. I hope to be adding more soon. The goal has been to bring awareness to as many brands and patterns as possible without bias. And yes, that top and bottom different camo is a good idea and I am surprised it is not a standard practice.

Is there a best camouflage for late season treestand? When all the foliage is gone and your silhouette is visible against the sky??

Many of my little tests reveal that it is almost impossible not to look like a dark blob in a tree no matter where the light is or what your backing or foreground is. I recommend something similar in color to a tree trunk and stay close to the tree or pick a tree cluster and get your stand in there so the multiple tree trunks conceal your silhouette. A pattern with large dark and light patterns would pretty good in this case. Scroll thought the patterns on the camomatrix.com tool. Give the upload your Background tool for your specific location. Kuiu Valo is a good one for those fall leave colors and later. You just missed a 50% off but check their clearance here: alnk.to/gKR5nBp Kryptek Skyfall might be a good one also: Check their outlet here: alnk.to/b7yPZxN
