I have always liked mossy oak break up i had even owned some at one point, with this comparison i have to say real tree edge takes this comparison slightly with the human eye, however with deer vision it wins by a landslide, maybe because mossy oak would be better suited for darker scenarios

Yes i can agree with you....mossy oak seems to do best in the hardwoods once the leafs have turned and there is less green growth.

For me I have a light mossy oak setup for summer and a insulated realtree setup for after fall. Works good for me in the northwest.

For me realtree edge is about the best camo I can get for my area, when im in my tree stand with my full camo on (Mask, gloves, pants, jacket) im very hard to see, with deer its mostly about smell and being quiet. But what camo you use comes down to what type of bush you're in and what print would fit best.

Nah this video biasly picked better versions of realtree camo for the backgrounds on the test ik mossy oak got other sht for different terrains I love old 1980s mossy oak treestand the one they used for there carhartt collaborations I've got 2 different mossy oak carhartts from the 80s then I also have a tricor insurance carhartt that's realtree camo from the 90s which I also love I literally couldn't pick between them if I had a gun to my head and I have other mossy oak and realtree carhartts they are my favorite thing other then full leather handmade boots to collect

This is great! I've always been a RT fan as they have always seemed more realistic. The lighter colors they add in definitely helps it blend in more I think.

i do believe most deer are shot from treestands especially during bow season.. i founded out the the problem.. in a tree , the camo is blocking the tree. u have to put a gray brown down the middle of coat and this dark brown should extend down to the bibs,, like 8 to 10 inches wide. the brown will be vertical to the hunter. no matter what pattern u have ,, it has to be like the tree you are standing on tree stand. lower legs and arms are a extension . gray and brown different values , will work excellent. for the bark of the tree. BUT the arms should portray the ski back ground. so simple,, i get payment for this idea because i am a oil painter richaRD EAU CLAIRE WI

The mossy oak is to dark, I’ve always felt their break-up patterns are just to dark. During bow season I wear Realtree Excape or Timber, both work extremely well. I brush my treestands in with cedars & oak limbs & zip-tie them around the base & to gear hooks above my head. It really helps. I do think Mossy Oak Bottomland (both) & Treestand work very well during the fall too, just not their Break-Up patterns. Now during spring turkey season I like Mossy Oak way better, I like the new bottomland in my vest & depending on early spring or late I’ll wear bottomland top & face mask with the green obsession pattern in pants. Once it greens up I keep the bottomland vest (Will Primos Signature Vest Is The Only Way To Go) but I’ll wear Obsession top & pants with a bottomland hat & face mask. I feel like your upper looks like the tree & your arms & legs look like the small undergrowth & forest floor around you. These are just the patterns & times I wear them that work for me in the Midwest.

I think realtree used the deer vision filter for the new edge pattern, to my eyes mossy oak looked better in human and realtree worked in deer vision

I said it in another video of yours, but I’m glad most of my gear is in the EDGE pattern. With the deer vision, it blows away the Break Up Country. I do have Mossy Break Up Country and their new DNA pattern, and honestly they work too. I like the DNA pattern more than the Break Up Country as it’s not as dark as the Break Up Country pattern.

I do a lot of hunting on foot. The mossy oak bottoms, which aren't as bold as these and a realtree top. Works perfect for the low moss and greenery on the ground. So I rock them both. Unless in a stand then it's real tree hands down.
