Reans segments are great, the ending of their fight reminded me of lloyd/rixia vs rean/altina where after the fight is over altina prods rean to use SU just in time for the timer to finish downloading the info for lloyd

Rean still calls himself inexperienced even at this point, but that's just like him. He still has a long way to go & has potential for infinite amount of progress.

@@ronaldday8571 It should also be kept into account that he's reached his currently level despite not being a character like Shizuna who trains nonstop & trained for most of her life, like Laura. Rean on the other hand spends most of his time helping others in need, plus aside from swordsmanship he's got other great talents as well like Fishing, being a academy teacher, as well as an excellent pilot. Rean is multi-talented.

Rean has been overly humble since CS1 so I wouldn’t rely on that alone to gauge his actual power. Reminder in CS1 he practically says this to every other character even the ones blatantly weaker than him.

Being just able to play Trails through Daybreak and seeing Rean go toe to toe with Shizuna really makes me wonder if he can do the same to Arkride Solutions in the intermission part 😭

He probably could at that point, though the ASO have gotten stronger since then so they should be able to hold their own far better now. Shizuna herself has also gotten stronger since then as well though so who can say ?

@@KillrMonkey19 Kai is most likely showing up end of 2025. Kondo said they started working with NISA during development this time around in a recent interview (not waiting for Japanese release first like they did in the past). Kondo also said Trails releases outside Japan now makes up 60% of their total sales. I heard they're already doing English voice recording for Kai.

Yeah spirit unification is an intermediate skill of the 7th form, but every practitioner uses every form, you may even be a divine blade of many, that just depends on the practitioner

I hope it isn’t much of a spoiler to ask, but have they said anything about Reans Orge Power/Spirit Unification? It was kinda explained in that Reverie sub story, but it seems like Shizuna can also use spirit unification, which I thought was a Rean exclusive skill.

Her sword ability is able to copy techniques, she copied it in reverie encounter Though her spirit unification is inferior and not as strong as Rean’s

technically they use a different kanji. Rean is using the breathing technique from 8L1B to control his ogre power. if you notice Shizuna spirit unification has Attack up, magic up, quick, and mind eye buff. while Rean basically increases all of his stats, quick, and Mind eye

@@zbigbozbboy5245This is wrong Rean doesn’t use base spirit unification, he uses enlightened spirit unification which is why the Kanji has two additional kanji Shizuna uses the base spirit unification She couldn’t copy the enlightened spirit unification version Shizuna is not eight leaves, black god. Spirit unification is eight leaves only, I think? Only Yun and Rean have SU naturally You’re right about stat increases

Spirit Unification is a 8L1B technique, not really Rean's exclusive. He has mostly used SU to tap into the curse power while also suppress/control it. In Reverie, it was stated that while the curse is gone, the power boost/ mystic power is still within Rean and he can use it, though he very much reluctant to use it due to it's origin While 8L1B and BG1B is two thing, the similarity is still there so for someone reached the "height" of one side like Shizuna, it wouldn't be surprising to "understand" and "copy" it especially with the whole "Unclouded Eyes" BS. In gameplay term it's pretty clear Shizuna's version of SU is inferior to Rean's SU due to many factor (if we took her words literally, her SU is pretty much a "copy" of the original) and also the fact that Rean has been using the technique alot more while also tapping into the residue power from the curse, hence the clear superiority between the two in SU term.

@@nothing001-z3p Most likely Trails Sold 1M copies world wide since January 2024 and all of a sudden kuro 2 is coming out less than a year after kuro 1 Kondo seen that rewrote the entire final act of Kai because he seen the sales increased world wide for series and green lit kuro 4 all for money

This is random so is anyone like excited to like see rean? Like i know people have mixed feelings about it. I was excited to at least see Fie when i played daybreak
