A lil runback on the characters for you guys. Charlie: princess of hell and daughter of Lucifer. Wants to redeem souls to prevent the purge. Vaggie: Charlie's girlfriend, her cause of death is unknown but she died in 2014. It might have had to do with an abusive relationship leading to her death. Or a hate crime on the count of her being gay. Angel Dust: A gay pornstar who died of a drug overdose in the 1940s. Might have come from a mob family. Alastor: Alastor was a radio host in the 30s and was a serial killer in Louisiana. He was killed by a deer hunter in 1933. Sir Pentious: An villian and inventor who was hung for his evil inventions in the 1880s. Cherri Bomb: Not much is known other than she's very anarchist and violent. Possibly died in a gang war in the 80s. Tom Trench: died in WW1, most likely due to mustard gas. Katie Killjoy: She died in the 1990s and not much is know about her death. In my mind since shes such a jackass i wouldn't put it past her coworkers to have poisoned her or snapped her neck out of spite. Husker: Died in the 1980s due to alcohol poisoning Nifty: not much is known other than she died in the 50s at a young age. Possibly due to a disease which is why shes so clean. Edit: please keep in mind this is just information I've gathered on my own, and since the show is only on the pilot I'm sure a lot of it will change. If any of this is incorrect or if you found other info plz correct me.❤

two things they dont really explain in the episode: 1. the extermination is basically angels coming down to hell to 'kill' the citicens of hell. 2. since they are already dead they cant be killed. they can get erased though. but only through the angels weapons. i think thats what these spears are which are seen sometimes in the episode.

Charlie is basically the equivalent to a Disney Princess born in Hell. Which makes sense why she has so many redeeming qualities. She wasn't a sinner, she was born there, it wasn't her choice. Demons shake with their left hands because they only use the right hand for making deals as you'll notice. Plus, in line with demon lore, they all have 3 fingers. Which is common in real life for people who say they've been scratched by demons and the mark is always 3 long lines. The attention to detail in this show is intense and the amount of years worked on it show heavily in the design and music. Glad to see you guys continue in the future! A bit of background info, that is considered canon: - Charlie is the daughter of Lucifer Magne and Lilith Magne. Unlike the other demons in the show she didnt land in hell for sins but was born there and just happened to grow into a compassionate person - the reason why she tries to end the yearly cleanse of demon souls imposed on them by angels with their heavenly weapons (the only means, by which a demon can be killed). As other commentors have already mentioned she is in a relationship with Vaggie and also bi-sexual. - Angel Dust was born into a New York crime family in life. He died in 1947 following an overdose of the drug PCP which is the reason for his name. - Alastor was a radio host and serial killer in Louisiana in life. He died in 1933. - Husker fought in the Vietnam war. - Sir Pentious was a Victorian era super-villain. He was and remains to be a genius when it comes to building and operating machines. Background info that isn't officially confirmed and subject to speculation: - Vaggie is Salvatorian and died in 2014 (canon). Her death is speculated to be the result of a hate crime against her because of her homosexuality. - Niffty is speculated to have died of an illness at a young age, resulting in her being very concerned about cleanliness. Her dying at a young age is also probably the reason she mistook Angel Dust for a woman, since she probably never learned about crossdressing etc. - Tom Trench is speculated to have been a soldier in WW I. His last name is an allusion to the trench wars where he probably met his end to a mustard gas attack.

Alastor was raised in a cult and he eventually murdered everyone in the cult including his own parents and he became a famous radio talk show host and went on a murder spree he fell in love with a girl that was a dancer (not a strip club dancer) and he fell in love with her more when he caught her murdering her competitors backstage and the both of them went on a murder spree till 1929 when Alastor went insane and murdered her as well and he kept on leaving evidence at the crime scenes and in 1933 he was running from the cops and killed 4 people in the woods when a hunter mistook him as a rabid deer or some type of monster and was shot in the head which killed him immediately and which he continued his murder spree in hell till he became accustomed to hell and regained his sanity after 100 years of broadcasting his carnage across all hell. That is the lore of Alastor
