The weekly schedule for some of the other reaction channels is so that they can keep a schedule for themselves where they can get everyone to watch the episode even though they have to take care of other shows and their daily lives. Think of it like a work schedule

Once you’re done with this, I would HIGHLY recommend watching Isekai Quartet. It’s a short and funny show that combines the characters from Konosuba, Re: Zero, Overlord, and Tanya: Saga of Evil. Very funny and is definitely worth the watch!

The bath scene in ep2 is a big flag setter in the story. Unfortunately the anime cuts out quite a bit that sets things up later. Kazuma mentions that Yunyun is pretty cute, but if she's the same age as megumin that's just a tad outside his range. Megumin then mentions her own birthday is only a couple weeks away. Kazuma does the mental math and realizes she's actually just a bit more than two years younger than him. That completely changes how he views her and resulted in the sudden embarrassed "why are we in the bath together?" Line, because she just went from the kid sister zone into the underclassmen (datable) zone. She turns 14 mid season though they don't go over it, and it is also age of legal adulthood in this world. Megumin, for her part, clearly remembers this conversation down the line, and never ..ever acts like a stereotypical violent anime waifu when shit happens (which does).

@@Reanimatedyt I'd recommend reading the source material when you clear the anime, they cut about 30% from each book outright and sometimes even change things. The 'bang, bang, bang' pace of the anime is the result of this. Even with the movie they only cover 5 volumes, and there are currently 16 main volumes, a vanir/wiz book, 5 megumin books and 5 dust (blond delinquent dude we see now and then but never named in the anime.) There is also several concurrently running konosuba manga. You can find it all for free over as cg translations. Doesn't hurt to buy the books too 😉

The season 2 episode is cool because it in itself is a mini episode of the show. They start at the tavern, accept a quest, run into trouble on the way, come up with an insane plan to win the day then go back to the tavern to celebrate. Season 1 intro on the other hand was just a series of random clips that don't even happen in the show instead of a cohesive narrative.

I place them on top of both of the cameras, shooting in 4K makes the cameras get hot and I have the heat on in the house too, so that accelerates the temperature rising in the camera.

One series you guys should react to is Danmachi. It is a fantasy series with some video game mechanics (levels, stats, experience), but it is not an isekai. It also has all the gods from our myths showing up, living alongside humans. Followers of the gods directly live with their patron deities, and take jobs depending on the nature of the god. So far there are gods from the Greek, Norse, Summerian, Hindu, and Shinto religions all showing up and interacting with each other and humans. Another interesting tidbit is two (and only these two) of the gods have been gender swapped. There is a female Loki and female Hephaestos.

@@Reanimatedyt It is. Plus the main character is not OP for once. It is a real zero to hero type of story. On top of the gods, there are also tons of fantasy races like elves, dwarves, prums (hobbits basically), amazons (all female race like the Gerudo from Zelda), and beast people. There are also two anime running in tandem. One is just Danmachi, the other is Danmachi: Sword Oratoria. It works like Resident Evil 2, where one series follows the male protagonist and the other is the female protagonist. Hope you guys get the chance to check it out. There are 2 seasons of Danmachi, 1 season of Sword Oratoria, and a movie currently. Season 3 is coming out this Summer too.
