If I ever use companions (rarely), I give them a pre-war bonnet to wear mostly so I don't shoot them during messy firefights. It also makes them look really silly.

You can reverse pickpocket Three Dog for his head wrap and it is part of my permanent wasteland aesthetic. Rush Operation Anchorage and get the Chinese Stealth Suit. Use the CSS glitch to wear multiple hats. I spend the REST of the game wearing Three Dog’s Headwrap, under The Shady Hat, while wearing The Lucky Shades. 😎. Lol.

@khrashingphantom9632 You can reverse pickpocket all the kids costumes in Lil Lamplight. I did a "collect everything" run. It's damn amusing. Watching the little guy who sells you Biwwy's Wazer Rifle run around in tiny combat armor is [bleeping] awesome!

@khrashingphantom9632 Iirc, the process is sneak and reverse pick-pocket better armor on them than they have equipped. Exit Lil Lamplight Wait 24 hours. They will have equipped the armor you gave then so you can pick-pocket their costume. Yeah, you gotta abuse save and reload if you get caught. 24 hours laterl lil dudes are running around in raider armor. It is [bleep] ing awesome! Reverse pick-pocketing armor on to people totally works. You just have to leave the cell. Not sure if you have to wait 24 hours before re-entering. I did. I believe weight impacts pick-pocketing, so up your sneak. I remember I had to reload saves multiple times both reverse and taking. I wanna see if lil dudes will wear power armor. Never tried that.

Crow's Eyebot helmet and ghoul mask. Every single playthrough. I get that the eyebot helmet is kind of heavy, but +1 Perception is still good, and the protection is still notable. Plus you can wear the ghoul mask with it, and the overall aesthetic has been my favorite ever since I found it. With how the ghoul mask works as well, it'll take all the hits, so the actual Eyebot helmet will never degrade. Which means at max durability, you'll have 6 armour that'll never go away(5 from the helmet, 1 from the broken mask), and as long as you don't take the mask off it'll keep the effect.

You don’t have to kill Red to get her bandana/jumpsuit since during the quest to save her you can give her a weapon through dialogue and that lets you take it from her inventory

The -1 Charisma is really a non penalty since you can hotkey the helmet and just take it off before a speech check .

Mechanist easy, best early game weapon to rush and an op crit weapon shotgun

Mechanist gives the better reward but Antagonizer is more interesting. So I’ll say Antagonizer because I tend to favor story.

I actually do have 2 of them. One for all the starting classes and another for weapons vs PVE but that one is outdated after the weapon changes.
