Enjoyed your review. Reaper Man is one of my favorite Discworld novels. The Fresh Start Club! Genius. Being an avid hater of shopping, the parasitic nature of the shopping carts/malls is a concept I can truly relate to.

This is the first (and so far only) Discworld I have read! I want to read more in Death's storyline, I enjoyed this one. It took me a little bit to get into it, since it's a very different style than what I usually read, but I did really like it so I'm glad I picked it up. :)

I agree, his style is special and different to others. I find it easier to dive in when I read them not too far apart. I need to pick up my rereading speed. And YAY you liked it :D

I need to re-read the Discworld books, I am a few behind now so need to catch up. I think I am missing the last 5? Can't remember. I love the storyline with the witches and then the wee free men :)

Hi, 1b1r. I wanted to give you an update. I finished Murakami Tsuzuki Takami and the Passage (his latest). It sucks! I'm shocked at how overrated he is as a writer. Why this gets four-stars on Amazon I do not know. So, like you who has read two of his books and didn't love them, I'm in your camp now: no more Murakami for this cowboy. Lol. You were right.
