Mate, thanks so much for a straight and precise look at the guts of Reaper. Straight to the point and explained in plain English. I was just looking to change the look of my Reaper DAW as I have a student coming in who uses it. I'm actually going to run some sessions with Reaper; you know, get out of my comfort zone with my usual suspects. Cheers again. Legend.

Yesterday I was struggling with one of my tracks oversized look in the Mixer panel, I was very confused by this change, my mild OCD kicked in! 😂 ...and now I know it is because of the number of channels (using SSD5 with multiple sends to separate tracks for each drum on the drum kit), so it was like 12 different stereo outputs Thanks again and keep up with these great Reaper education videos!

Hello Kenny, I am a true fan of yours. Watch all your videos and have learned so much using Reaper because of it. You are an incredible teacher, Kudos! I have only one problem though, that maybe you might be able to help me with and that is my eye sight is not what it used to be, how can I change the 'menubar' and drop down menus to dark mode? I have tried almost all the themes from the Reaper site, but none of them change my menubar. The white background is just to impossible to bear. If you can't help because I know you are busy, thank you nonetheless!

When I click on an item, Reaper highlights it super bright. Is there a way a can turn down the highlighting a bit? When I’m working with a bunch of takes, it makes it hard for me to tell which take I have selected.

Hey man i'm having a huge problem with panning in REAPER. i set the track 100% Left or right but on the master play the signal to both sides like there was non pannig. Even if there is no pluguins on any tracks... Please someboddy help!! I'm freaking out!

Maybe you're using multichannel tracks (in some case, this might bypasses the panning) ? Or maybe you're not routing directly to the master but to a bus whose panning takes over the track's panning.

As a longtime cubase user, I was tempted by reaper. My initial excitement is now gone, reaper gone from my computer, windows11 totally killed me beyond repair! Blue screen all the time! The asio focusrite driver wouldn't boot after a while, reaper crashed, and after several attempts to reinstall reaper and the sound card, the system crashed completely. If he was the only one it happened to, I'd say, yeah.. it's my fault, but this has happened to more people on the forums. If you don't have any advice, and reaper support didn't answer me either.. Trash Reaper, sorry
