@@mielushe2lheureux939 Many thanks for your kind words ! Yes, i try to share the "deeper tricks" in Reaper but tutorial-quality wise: my vids don't come even close to Kenny's tuts LOL.

Ha! You did it! Just a wee point is that when you go to add the shortcut, you don't actually have to specify a shortcut - just clicking on the "add shortcut" option in the fx browser will open the shortcut dialogue and you can just click cancel on that and the action will be created anyway, without having to specify a shortcut and then delete it later...

Ahhhh. Damnit. Thanks

Yeah great tip
@rafalvarezsevilla3 жыл бұрын
It's not necessary to create and delete the shortcut, just hit "cancel" and it'll show up in your action list, then just search your action list for "insert fx" and you can add all your created actions all at once. Amazing that you can chains to several Items/Channels, love it!

Always awesome as usual!!! Thanks so much Kenny! Please, is it possible to have toolbar for track templates just as we have just learn on fx, so that someone can just, from a toolbar, add a track template without diving into the whole folder. If possible, that will be really really great! Thanks!

Kenny, you probably made a video on this before.but my question is...how do I record the tracks that I used midi from my external synths ? I followed your video on using external synths but now I want to record the audio from the synths and print them on my tracks with audio to mix down later? Thanks Kenny for your videos they help vastly.
@petersamps5 жыл бұрын
If you are recording from an external synthesizer, it is the same as if you are recording audio from any source. Plug the audio output of the synthesizer into the input of your audio device and record audio as normal. Use Reaper to play the midi to the synthesizer while doing this, obviously. You can record audio to the same track if you want; just change the track input setting to audio from the specific audio input. Audio and midi can exist on the same track. Alternately you can record audio from the synthesizer to a separate track.

good rule of thumb for anyone who wants to get proficient at using reaper: if you don't know what the title of a REAPER mania video means you should probably watch it lol. so many life changing concepts are divulged here.

Actually you don't need to assign shortcut, you can click cancel and the fx will be in action list anyway 😁
