Hi Kenny. I don't use Reaper (I use Renoise and Bitwig) but I watch every single video from you. Many things you teach are universal in the DAW world - and you have this Zen way of doing it. So thank you sir! Love your work ❤️

@@REAPERMania Hi Kenny - can you help me locate one of your videos, please? In it, you showed a way to quantise a guitar or bass for example by creating a duplicate track, adding a high pass filter to emphasise the transients, adding stretch markers and grouping the two tracks etc, but I'm a bit stuck and need to see the video again. Many thanks!

What a juicy video you made Kenny, really the jungle of actions in Reaper keeps growing and keeps covering all things that not sure in other daws if they are covered so well .. As a drummer who uses reapers for drum covers and for my practice. in my practice for now I use a click track and I have 4-5 sections with tempo changes so I can easily choose the speed and noticed the section usage. For the future if you have not covered I would like to see a series of video covering automation from the very basic stuff of using envelopes up to more advanced stuff ... or if already done those to have them in a play list so that I can go through them and learn new things that my reaper Guru shares with all of us ... Keep those videos coming Kenny ...

Put the Loudness Meter plugin after your guitar preset and play.

👍 . How can I save projects in two different places? Like Two SSD or Two HHD or both .
@opsjesse2 жыл бұрын
I'm really wondering if i can automate pre-fader gain levels for tracks®ions based on VU metering, and not LUFS. I think I remember kenny doing it in a type of way using the loudness meter, writing it to an envelope, inverting the envelope, nudging it slightly to ride the gain before each waveform starts, etc. BUT- could there be a more effective way to automate that in a few clicks so one can just manually fine tune the result afterword? Is this a pipe dream?

I really wish there was a video that covered how to fade from the MASTER for a fade ending in your render. I see the option on the master but I don't get the automation lane to draw it in :/
@Ihadtosettleforthis2 жыл бұрын
Wait, can you not go View -> Master Track, then click on master track and press V to show volume lane, and then draw in the automation?
