NOTE TO EVERYONE: if you are using the synth and audio at the same time, you can get the attack of the notes to line up much better. Just nudge the midi data backwards in time a bit after recording, until everything lines up! Fyi there's no way that I'm aware of to accomplish this live, without introducing forced latency into the incoming audio (after Reatune in signal chain). Thanks again Kenny!

That's cool. Does it work with bends? I know not all synths can output something like that, but some do.

To get Reatune to reasonably accurately duplicate notes I have found guitar stuff has to be really simple, no bends or vibrato, can be a bit hard to stop yourself doing those kind of guitaristic things. You can record a bunch of guitar, feed it though reatune into midi after and edit it. A great way to get guitar stuff into midi, especially if you just don't want to use a keyboard>

I have the tyrell 6. It was free so.... I"ve watched all the guitar to midi vids & I'm going to see if I can get evolution strawberry guitar software to work as a guitar amp. There's enough angles in reaper I'm confident I can get it to work.......Maybe.

Can you record a midi track from a previously recorded live instrument track?
@Melvin77275 жыл бұрын
Joe Haley Late, but you should be able to. Because, regarding the signal flow, the audio goes into the plugins, meaning it will go into reatune the same way.

sometimes the guitar harmonics make some undesirable notes. mostly 1/32 notes usually I resolve some of it with a gate and some EQ. Any other way???

Is there anyway to make Reatune Paraphonic atleast by using the channels and note overlap function? Or maybe using a band splitter to help seperate the spectrum for note reading by using multiple instances?

Can you explain what are the proper global settings for midi and audio routing for this to work correctly? I followed all steps in the video, but have no sound output or visible metering in the midi channel. All other audio tracks seem fine. Thanks for any guidance.
