Really helpful, I first bought the hub bearing assembly but after seeing your video I ended up ordering just the sensor. I also bought a 2 inch diameter PVC thing from Lowes, which fits perfectly on the sensor so I can hammer it down on the hub easily.

Easy way to install new sensor is to use brake drum, set it over new sensor as it puts even pressure on just the edges and use the drum to pound it in.

Why did you remove the entire wheel hub? I put my van up on ramps and access the sensors on the rear with no problems just what you did with little work. That was insane. That would be like removing the engine to get to the front transaxles. I have no idea why you did all of that. You only replaced the sensor. No bearings or anything else and tapping with a center punch or chisel. What was that for?

think for DIYers, it provides better access to the sensor when the assembly is removed. It's not that difficult to remove the assembly, but if I had a lift or enough room to get behind the wheel, I would go your route. Laying on my back on the floor and removing the sensor is a little tricky.

Did you find the defect with the speed sensor? It could also be the magnetic ring which is the second half of the sensor.

It was The Rear Abs sensor. Also later on, the ABS CONTROL MODULE was bad so i switched it out. I posted up a video also on how to change the abs control module kzbin.info/www/bejne/maSUcnt_jNCaY9E Since i replaced the Abs control module to this day… no check engine light or abs light. Module cost $272.66. It was refurbished. Just had to mail mine back to the guy who fixed them on ebay modulerepair(17167) Heres the link www.ebay.com/itm/333594001280 modulerepair(17167) is 💯 legit

If you trying to put abs sensor from front to back. That will not work. If you want to mix the rear abs sensors with left and right abs then yes and yes also with hub bearing you can mix. Only with back hub bearings.

How did get just the sensor whats the part number

Just go to Oreilleys or Autozone. Let them know what part you need by giving them the make , model and year of car. They will pull for you the right part. Or you can go their website and punch in all info and it shall give you what part and number you need.
