Thank you for going through each step and showing each part I really appreciate it. Lots of videos seem to leave out quite a bit of information by simply not showing each part.

This is the best video I’ve seen on Toyota rear bearing replacement. Thanks!

This video, the editing, and your workmanship (attention to cleanliness and detail) are top shelf! 🍻 💪 Thank you for putting this together. 2005 Toyota 4Runner with ALL of the same issues. LR axle seal puking onto parking brake shoes and drums. BEarings howling, Metal debris inside rear axle housing that will need special attention. To the masses, Dorman makes a complete axle assembly with bearings and backing plate already assembled and ready to bolt in. For 2003-2008 4Runners it's PN# 926-141 and 926-142. This will save folks from having to invest in a press and special adapter tools. Also makes the job more accessible for DIY folks less experienced in car repair. LIKE if this comment helped you (otherwise I'm keeping to myself in the future). 👍 ✌

Snap on makes two tools that make Toyota e brake shoes easy to service! Not gonna find it at Hobo Freight 😂 ****Anyone doing this buy the NSK Japanese bearings from rock auto. There are ALOT of counterfeit KOYO bearings out there. Honestly they don’t allow most companies to sell their stuff. NSK is a quality Japanese bearing company Toyota/Lexus contract with. No need to spend $250 per side. Great video never the less!

FYI: it is C-clip not C clamp. Good video. You can cut the race with a dremel tool and use a chisel to split the race. Be careful not to score the shaft. A slight nick is OK.

Some things I realized after doing this job to make it much easier. 1.) Get the Toyota parking break tool, I got mine from the National Tool Warehouse. This tool makes taking apart your parking break off and re putting it back on super easy!! 2.) Buy a new axle clip, the dealer sold it for $4 3.) If you live in a place where the roads are salted go ahead buy new bolts that cinnect the axle shaft to the axle housing. Will prevent break off in the future. 4.) Buy a new abs bolt $3 dollars at the dealer. 5.) Buy your wheelbearing from Rock Auto as its OE, which its better than the KOYO OEM for $78 with shipping. This wheelbearing from Rock Auto is the same one used in the factory when built. Worked gred and saved me $100s 5. Rent the tools to separate the wheelbearing and repress it from auto zone. I bought a tool from amazon to remove the last peice of the bearing that was stuck on the axle shaft and it destroyed my Break Drum deflector, where the lugnuts are held. This made me had to get a new wheelbearing because it wouldnt turn with this damage. Rock Auto returned the bearing. The new drum reflector with the gasket was about $35, so trust me rent the tools from autozone. 6. Follow all the steps on this video and you can have this done in 3 hour max. I would had got it done in an hour or two if i had the emergency break tool and rented the tool from autozone. This job was not hard at all and i saved $800 from doing it myself rather than the dealer.

You make it look so easy. Very helpful, well-produced and explained. Thank you. Does grabbing the wheel and trying to rock it work to diagnose a wheel bearing with this setup?

Thank you for support brotha!! And yes if you jack up the wheel and then grab the wheel and try to rock it you should feel if there's an excessive play.

Just a little advice as I did not see you mention it in this video... There is a small metal retainer ring above the metal ring on top of the bearing make sure to remove before trying to press the bearing out or you will ruin your tools and bent bolts. ✌️💪👌👍🙏
