Great video but I didn’t understand why the larger diameter of one of the driveshafts improved traction, could you explain that a bit more?

The two rear output shafts are designed with different stiffness resulting in an optimized harmonic behaviour of both rear wheels and thereby increasing traction.

Usually this also helps stop wheel hop. Identical shafts would, like they say be a bad harmonic behavior

Subframe is mounted rigidly which means a lot of welding once it becomes a "classic" like e46 m3

Does this diff use the rear brakes to control wheel spin even with dsc? On track the rear brakes are wearing heavily - faster than fronts. The e90 was known to do this. Also would hot rear brakes due to excessive traction intervention that throws code 48087D cause engine speed reduction?
