If u go with a 3 inch or more u need to take off the upper control arm bolt and remove the lower control arm completely makes it easier to drop as low as possible i recommend getting a new set of lower insulators put the new on the bottom spring to adapter and old on the bottom of the adapter or lift to not have any metal to metal contact

This method allows you to do both at the same time or did you take each side apart and put back separately

Did you have to use shocks extenders for the rear after you installed the spacer?
@craig49262 жыл бұрын
no, i installed this kit in my 2016 suburban and everything went together fine

@suspensionmaxxman getting a 1" for rear and 1.5" front , do i need to buy any other product ? would this harm my factory coils ?
@suspensionmaxxman5 жыл бұрын
No Henry, this will not hurt your factory coils and that is everything you would need to lift your Tahoe , Yukon or Suburban.

i just did 3" on front of my 08 Yukon now it squats ? how much should i get on the rear to level up ?
@hellraisercomesback5 жыл бұрын
I would go at least 2 or 2.5. I did 2 inch in the front of my 07 suburban and it looks like 2.5 so I'm going to try 1.5 inch in the rear to even it out a bit.

Have you done any adjusting to your torsion keys?.
@THEEVERYTHINGTHINGCHANNEL4 жыл бұрын
Energizer Gainz 08 Yukon’s dont have torsion keys. They have struts.

What size spacers (front & back) does the Tahoe in the video have? I have the 2.5 inch spacers in the front and I think the back needs to come up some too. Can't decide between the 1 and 1.5.
@CompaCesar5 жыл бұрын
Kyle Herman bro 1.5 will be level i have a tahoe 09 with 2.5 in front and the back 1.5 and it level it good

Does a 1" spacer require any shock extensions and how do you adjust the autoride sensor?
@suspensionmaxxman6 жыл бұрын
No shock extension required. The auto ride sensor works well with no extension on the rear for a 1"

@@suspensionmaxxman if I do a 3.5 lift in front would a 1 inch level it or should it be a 2 inch
@donaldott94193 жыл бұрын
@@terrenceknight9991 What did you end up doing here? I'm doing 3.5 front and 2.5 rear on a 2013 Escalade to accommodate LT295/70R/18's. Anything I should watch out for?
@aacar40955 жыл бұрын
Doesn’t this change the suspension geometry (camber, etc)? Maybe it’s not enough to matter. People just often raise or lower a car without understanding that it changes things like camber, etc.
@craig49264 жыл бұрын
thats why they perform an alignment after install. it corrects everything
@donkey6906 Жыл бұрын
If you are just adding rear coil spacers it wouldnt need an alignment and it also doesnt change camber

@legendarymotorsports73734 жыл бұрын
Those aren't air but lift would work with air struts.

Did u need a alignment done with the 1 inch
@craig49264 жыл бұрын
if you watch their other video of them installing the front the explain at the end that an alignment was done. and lift change needs an alignment
