Awesome videos man... Greetings from NW-London... Quick 2 questions... 1) Do you have to declare all your changes to your insurance? And 2) do you then need a brand NEW MOT? Thank you...
@MotoMirius6 жыл бұрын
Cheers for that. Yes you should notify your insurance company because if you don’t and you need to claim then they could refuse to pay out. Most insurers don’t worry about decorative changes like this. No need for MOT as I have not changed anything safety related. Skäl. David

JAJAJAJAJAJA sorry man but the phrase "easy to change" after to see 11 videos with you building a seat is really funny.

Easy to change doesn’t mean easy to build 🤣🤣. At least for me. Skäl. David

with a mudguard that short, wont your back get wet in the rain? how short can you go for a mudguard for it to still work properly and stop all rain and mud.
@MotoMirius2 жыл бұрын
Yes. It's why you have to make a decision between style and practicality. There are two factors - the sides and the back of the mudguard, both allow splash because of aerodynamics of a bike in motion which sucks the air into the vacuum created by your body. To minimise splash keep the end of the mudguard longer than the end of the wheel.

@@vickymcleod5244 That's why I said click on the link on the advert to Motone - they can advise if they still sell this or if they simply have a new advert.

Seat looks MUCH better

Well of course, it's the currently popular 'look.' I need to redo it to change the angle, but people love the slammed look. I need to get back onto this build. Skäl David

No rubbing?
@MotoMirius2 жыл бұрын
Not if you mount it to the swinging arm, no. It's a shaft drive so no movement for chain tensioning

Ur back will get wet
@MotoMirius6 жыл бұрын
Hey Elie. Yes it will. Fashion over function 😀. The next build will have a more practical length but it’s why I stress the modular build. I can put a longer back mudguard on in ten minutes. Skäl. David
