I live in a motorhome full time and travel around Europe in it. I spend most of my time in Poland, Germany and Italy. Vanlife is my life.
In my KZbin channel, I present reviews of recreational vehicles. Here you will find campervans and motorhomes from the cheapest camper vans to the most expensive luxury liners, from various companies including Hobby, Hymer, Carthago, Westfalia, Wingamm, La Strada, Frankia, Wavecamper, Maurer, Dreamer, Itineo, Rapido, Clever Vans, Pössl, Bürstner, Niesmann Bischoff, Action Mobil, Reisemobil Manufaktur, Robeta, Trigano, Challenger, EuraMobil, Karmann Mobil, Laika, Forster, Mobilvetta Design, Affinity, Globe Traveller, Benimar, Roller Team, Adria, Bocklet, Woelcke,Tourne, Megamobil, VW, Mercedes, CS, Renault, Ford, Fiat, Carado, Sunlight, Baileys, Chausson, Balcamp, Knaus, Weinsberg, Murvi, Bliss, Mitsubishi, Woelcke, Reisemobile Bürow, Holzmobil, Giotti Line, Florium, Fleurette, Ahorn, Westfalia, Space Camper, Orange Work, Concorde, Womondo, Protec, Auto Sleeper, Dethleffs, Ilusion, Gehocab, Malibu, Pilote, Wild Ax, Vantage, Bresler, Tom's Fahrzeugtechnik, Morelo, Swift, Carado and others.
I do this by regularly attending trade events such as CMT Stuttgart, Abenteuer und Allrad, Caravan Salon Dusseldorf, Warsaw Caravan and Camping Show and sometimes others.
I cover equipment, including 12v electrical equipment and talk a lot about lithium batteries.
I also show some of the places I have visited in Europe in my own motorhome, as well as the places you can stay at! I try to give as much coverage as I can to official campsites and free places which I use for overnighting. Therefore you can find here the aire or stellplatz that you are possibly looking for.

Hello Alan. Why don't you show the price with its extras? Nobody buys a motorhome without extras. I see this same one that has an oven, awning, Fiat GPS, etc. Try to show the price at the bottom, maybe it is €15,000 more Thanks

Hi! I owned one of theese 2023models for Almost a year and drove it 10000km, now i have a 2016 adria sonic. I really loved aaand hated the Malibu! Ask me anything about it, why i ended up changing it too another brand. Its a really nice campervan, but it very clearly has its ups and downs..

I hope you changed it for a Supersonic. If not, it does not make sense All the best

@@txikitxikitxiki7727 No, couldnt find me a supersonic, that filles my reqierments. But i got a ”pimped up” sonic+ 701 with all bells and whistels. Its an SBC-model (not a german bed). And i love the middle large bathroom. Why would you ”only” choose the supersonic?

@@VanlifewithAlan The bad or worst thing, was the too bright spotlights in the roof (the little ledlamps wasnt enough too see anything) soo superbrightness like the sun! Or Almost total darkness, no dimable LEDs. And trying too fix it afterwards from a dealer wasnt doable according too the retailer (after they contacted carthago). -and with simple solutions it wasnt possible because of the optimised cables and non dimable LEDs. No easy fix, or just connect a dim-button. All because of the wiring in the the roof. Second was the very poor quality of apolstry, rear LED-lights that was broke, sometimes working, sometimes no lights at all (even no working brakelights!). This is the same LEDs that carthago c-line uses. The moho i ordered was supposed too have centrallocking, but there where none. Since i ordered that option, i tryied too get the retailer too retro-fit it, but it wasnt possible due too fiats canbus-system. (I was compensated of this, after many hours of arguing with retailer, and then myself contacting carthagocity Aulendorf, retailer compensated this with an installed roof-aircon. But still, when ordering a 2023-model, i think it should be standard, and not an ”option” 2023? Its not the 70is anymore. One of the front LEDsGlass broke twice, due too tension in the glass (the ones that looks like the bottom of a beerbottle). This was also a guarantee-issue, but it was really hard to get a confirmation from carthago that it was a product-fault.. I also ”personally” think that theese expensive motorhomes should have Lithiumbatteries as standard, the small gel-batteries just dont cut it. I upgraded it later myself, and used a Liontron battery that have performed supergood when camping without Landconnection for 3-5days. As i wrote, i both loved and hated the Malibu, spacewise, its soo big and wonderful! (Just like the Carthago c-line). Love the modern BIG dometicfrigde, that acually keep the food cool, in hot climates. (Croatia/spain-summerheat). Then the new fiat engine with adblue… tearfilled eyes….. For real!! How can one think that cow-urin is good for a engine, and goes for all adblue-vehicles.. Due too the adblue-tank, you loose presciious dieseltankspace. Fiats old ”big” dieseltank is superb! And i do love the ”new” automatic gearbox by fiat, its smooth and supernice, not like the old robotic-gearbox. The new floor in the Malibu is very nice (too look at) but not scratch-resistable at all, and of very poor (thin laminate) quality too. Loved the 3020alde heater, but still, the 10liter hotwater-heaterTank is just too small when taking a shower or multiple. The motorhome is buildt too house 4people, why shouldnt everybody be able too shower? The freshwatertank is 125liter, and would in my opinion rather be around 200liters. The alde heater, takes a very long time too heat the moho, but its nice when up too temperature. Malibu called it ”heated floor” since the heat comes from doublefloor. But still… the floors are very cold compared too electric heated floors. Still i lived like a king in this moho, but simple things like lack of electric or usb-outlets, was quite frustrating at times. When paying this amounts of money for a brand new moho, i think one could expect more. Ooh, one more thing.. -Just loved the buildquality of this motorhome, the germans really over do it!, -from the old tiger2tank too the malibu 149LE -and i looove it! Really Good job! Cheers! 😂👍
