First comment: Bolero is a wonderful rearing horse, strong enough to really go up to the vertical and even stand on hind legs - and he enjoys rearing and is grateful when you ask him to. Second comment: It is surprising how good a figure you make on rearing Bolero - you practice on him only the second time and your posture is perfect: strong lower legs keeping feet in the stirrups, very calm and safe seat, perfect balance - you seem to have a natural talent to ride rearing horses. Third comment: yes, you sometimes hold him too tight as at 0:03 and at 1:05, when your position is good, but Bolero should have more head freedom. But you also improve in this respect: Look at that beautiful rears after 0:15 and 0:40, when you don´t hang on the reins. Last comment: To my opinion your best rearing performance is after 0:55, where one can watch how well you make him rear only with your lower feet - no pulling on reins but leaving them loose. Summary: Yes, there is some room for improvement - but you are very near to perfection. The development will be, that you keep him standing for some longer time and finally even let him walk, turn or do small jumps while standing with you on his back. Then you will enjoy utmost excitement together with Bolero - good luck! As I have subscribed to your channel, I hope for more rearing videos. thank you !!!

Are you having a trainer work with you on the rearing?

+Emily LikesToSleep Nope, watch my tutorial video, that's how I trained my horse. But that was the first time with a saddle (second time ever) that I was on him when he reared, I really have to learn not to pull on the reins. I think this is now going a lot better already :)
