This is hilarious! I told my husband that as much as I loved spending so much time with him during Covid, there were only a few opportunities when he was out of the house so I couldn't rearrange the furniture!! I don't think I've ever had help moving furniture because I ALWAYS do it when he's gone!! Naomi you need to put felt feet under your furniture eg sofa... Then it won't scratch the floor when you move it around and it will slide easily over the floor. 🤗 Maybe try the sofa "floating" in the room in front of the fire and move the dining table over to the "dead" corner where you have just put the sofa. I think that would be cosy.. And then you have more open space when you enter the room from the front door ie the big dining table isn't blocking the way. The forest looked like a boreal rainforest.. Beautiful 😍.

It's always a good idea to move furniture! A little suggestion: since you have an electrical outlet on each side of the sofa, it would be nice to put a pretty lamp on a coffee table. I like the idea of floating the sofa on away from any wall and not shoving it so tightly in the corner. If you’re going to leave it where it is, you may like it centered on that wall about a foot to the right and 3 inches from the wall. This breathing room will continue the airy feeling you already have, in my opinion of course.
@Joybug_513 жыл бұрын
@@mizzezjones I agree, lining the walls with furniture always looks crowded. Leaving just a few inches between the long side of the sofa and the wall would open the space visually.
