Rearranging My Shop: Getting set up for the New CamVac Woodturning with Sam Angelo

When I built my shop (12 years ago!), I had oodles of space for my Delta midi-lathe, my old Jet tablesaw and other tools. Then the Sawstop arrived, followed by the drum sander, which was followed by the scroll saw, which was in turn followed by the Powermatic 3520C, which was then followed by the Supercell, which was then followed by the Powermatic 2014. No matter how many times I re-arrange things, the shop doesn't get any bigger and my wife refuses to park her car outside!

Very interesting, Sam. I have a new dust collector for in my garage where the bulk of my woodworking tools are located, but it's not hooked up yet. With the frigid negative temps right now I'm not spending any time out there. I have another dust collector in my basement for my lathe and it works pretty well.

It is a proven fact that we accumulate 110% of the items that we have room for Sam. Good luck with future arrangements for your shop. In my shop, I ended up purging a lot of things that I have missed and wish I had them back.

-31 3 days ago I am scheduled for carpal tunnel surgery. The end of February. Saw the doctor today and he said I definitely need surgery. I’m looking forward to it. Thanks Dave. Talk to you later.
