Hi, doing the same install on my B6 2002, much appreciate your video! But when I power up the camera from the reverse light, all I see is black/white stripes flashing in the screen. I saw a black box in your video, are you using some power relay capacitor in between the rear light and the camera? This is something the sellers of these cameras advertise:)

Great thanks, how are you? Radio is great soo far, im enjoying the added features the oem radio lacks, soo no complaints from my side. Definitely a worthy and recommended upgrade👍🏽

hello how did you get the camera to switch on when put in reverse ?

Hi, I spliced into the Reverse Light power wire to power on my camera, so whenever the reverse lights come on, the camera also comes on.

@@ffwmotor-sport1081 thanks for replying. So that’s the way I connected my camera as well but for some reason when I put the car in reverse it won’t automatically switch to the camera on its own. I have an alpine stereo btw. Any suggestions?

@@withintheroots. Okay I see, usually your radio will have a Camera Trigger Wire that you need to connect all the way to the 3rd wire that comes from your camera. (If I'm not mistaken the Reverse Cameras will have the AV Wire that runs to your headunit, and on that AV wire there's a red wire attached, that's your trigger wire). 👍🏽

​​@@ffwmotor-sport1081my camera do not have a trigger Wire, just RCA and power conector. Do not have the third Wire you mention.

After I took out the 4 screws, I pulled hard on it, to unclipped the very stubborn clips, so yeah I tugged and pulled until it popped off
