I have been taught about Calvinist for long time. I used to critic my own beliefs in Calvinist theology (longing for the truth) and I can see many inconsistencies in my own doctrine. From the moment I started to listen Mr Craig, all my doubts about many things and the truth unravel. The best thing about this man is his teachings are always coherent, biblical, theological, logical and philosophically consistent.

If you accept a gift, that doesn't mean you've actively done any work. You simply accept the gift, you accept God's offer to work through you. If you do not accept a gift, it obviously does not have any meaning to you. It shows you do not want it. You are offered grace from God at any time, all you have to do is accept it. The prodigal son accepted the grace of his father. He had not done any work, but simply allowed his father to help him.

Question Dr Craig, Where in Scripture is God's Grace categorized as being Prevenient, isn't the fact that God is Gracious {Unmerited Favor} good enough or do we really need to Agree with the Catholic system {leading so many astray} by creating variations of Grace that Scripture doesn't support. Thank You for all you do.

"Prevenient" just means "comes before." So, prevenient grace is grace that comes before salvation through faith. This is exactly what we see in John 6:44, where Jesus proclaims that no one can come to him unless the Father draws them. This drawing is a grace, for it is unmerited favor for God to draw sinners to himself. So, the concept of prevenient grace is biblical, whether or not Catholics affirm it. - RF Admin

Dr. Craig, some of your Academic books are way too pricey! I wish I could afford to buy some of your books on the Theory Of Time, but unfortunately, I don't make enough money to pay $475 for a 300-page paperback book. It's interesting how many of the books written by atheists are not as expensive as the ones written by theists. I'm not blaming you, but your publisher is horrible.
