I know what you mean, Sir. I’m a United States Air Force veteran and I’ve worked in the Emergency Medicine field for many years. Yet seeing people being kind to animals or to people in need, always chokes me up and brings happy tears to my eyes. Ms. Dolly Parton stated in the film, Steel Magnolias, “Laughing through tears is my favorite emotion.” Mine too.

He wanders around South Africa and hands out money, clothes, shoes, haircuts, he drives people in his own car regardless of how clean they look or smell, I imagine and he takes people to restaurants and buys them coats and blankets. There was one family who had three generations of at least a dozen people living in a squalid mud hut, and through donations, this family was given a big concrete home that will keep out the snakes and vermin that kept getting in and biting the children! The thing I love most about him is that he *never shows his face.* Too many people film themselves doing 'good deeds' only to walk away ignoring the person as soon as the filming stops. But not this man. Need definitely not just creating content for attention. He is a very blessed soul.

I had an expression I stated over the years that sums things up for the current world we live in. "It's easy to hurt someone, try healing someone". This was so beautiful. Random acts of kindness restore my faith in humanity. But, it’s the animals that really get me. I know that I should be more concerned about humans, but somebody needs to help our homeless animals. Don’t get me wrong, EVERYONE deserves a break with kindness, and my heart soars, especially with the children and the elderly. But, I had a rough childhood, and my animals were the ones who showed me the most love not wanting anything from me. I’m 62, and to this day, my animals are still everything to me. God Bless all these kind hearted souls 🙏❤!!

I truly Believe, that Dear God, has pockets of people who are animal advocates, that speak up for the voiceless, vulnerable animal souls. That doesn't mean you feel any less for fellow humans - especially children and weak and vulnerable adults. In my experience, animal lovers are the most kind, sensitive and merciful to everyone. It moved my heart, when you mentioned how animals loved, protected and saved you, as a child. Never doubt that God sent those Animal Angels to help you. GOD's Greatest Gift to the world, are the animals. I could never imagine life without them. I love watching Lee Ashers, The Asher House Animal Rescue and Sanctuary. oh, it is SO much fun. try risking it and stepping out and giving a potted flower this spring to an elderly person. Sometimes, I will buy a mum or daisy and then ask God to send someone across my path to give it to. It is miraculous when someone who comes across my path then and I will say, "Is it her?" and I will know - The gift giving is better and the gift receiving I think

@@BloodyCanadian The US is so large and has such a big population that families in all states, can become without money, medical care or shelter. Too many people slip through the cracks and wind up living in their cars or abandoned buildings. Often, it is mothers with small children. Sometime drug addictions play a part. Now there is a group of people. let's face it, men, who want to take away birth control, which will exacerbate the problem even more. And what will happen? Even more children living on the streets. Vote against any politician who wants to control women's bodies. What if men's bodies could be rendered unable to father children without choice? Think about it. They do it to dogs.

Yes it can. I hadn't been feeling good about myself in my relationship for awhile. At the time I worked stocking in a retail store. An older man asked me one day if I could help him. He said another associate didn't understand what he specifically was looking for. I led him to it, chatting along the way. When I told him to have an awesome day he looked me straight in the eye and said " young lady don't let these young ones think they have anything over on you because you are absolutely gorgeous." I smiled all day long.

What my son and I do here in the City of Cape Town (South Africa) during terrible storms. We shelter the hairy brown caterpillars in a cardboard box (with holes in the lid) with their favourite leaves and then when the weather is better, we put them safely back in the garden. We also create outdoor shelters for rover beetles. These beetles are worm like, six legs, tiny almost useless wings hidden underneath their back legs. They use their 'tail end' of their bodies to help them move along on their tiny legs. Feels great to keep the garden critters safe. Loved the acts of kindness here. Thank you for posting this. Its these kind of little moment that keep me wanting to work with people. Currently i work as a cashier either at the gas station or self service. I love getting to know my customers especially the regulars. I've known kids while they were in their mama belly though their teens at this point. Little things like getting told i have a grand daughters looking for a bf from the grandmas to just interacting with babies as i help there parents. the innocent smiles they have to the high fives and bye byes from the toddlers really just makes my day. If even just a little bit i like to make something positive happen.

There's a convenience store near where I grew up that's been run by the same guy the whole time; he's a talkative, gregarious type and I've continually gotten to know him better as I've grown. He's rented out R rated movies to my eldest brother when we were kids, my brother and I built his rooftop deck after I started working, eventually we started hanging out and became friends. Shortly after that several years ago he invited me to join him on his 50th birthday homecoming trip to Vietnam. It came straight out of the blue but screw it said yes; probably the best month of my life

I see people standing roadside with signs asking for help, usually money. While driving a car and stopped at a light, I rolled down my window and gave a woman a new bottle of cold water. Before the light changed, I got to see her open the bottle, throw her head back and take a big drink. It was a moment I will never forget. She looked at me and said thank you. I knew it was a thank you for much more than the water.
