@@RichardCranium. I don't think Europeans mixed with everyone. Just the few. I am from south india and there is no European influence here. We are older than Europeans and I don't know if we moved out or Europeans came here. Because nothing about indians is mentioned in European history or indian history. Our Tamil kings traded with ancient Romans with textile. I know this because it is mentioned. Earliest remains of human from indus valley period are indigenous.

Clearly you're talking about yourself, not the over a billion people. That's all you notice. You're paranoid. Their either famous from family lineage, famous elsewhere (pageants), or unique. There's short, old, at least one from every corner. Which is better than Hollywood. They have to audition like everywhere else, look up their background, many get rejected initially. They're obviously not street laborers, stop focusing on every angle or light, and they vary when they age. Everyone does, especially with cameras on you 24/7.

Whereas South Indians are always the brainy IIT'ans who speak only "ayyo"s, Maharashtrian male is a pudgy bald man driving Vespa whereas woman is "kaamwali" who use prefix like "Aaiga" and "Aggabai" before speaking in flurent hindi..a Gujrati has a weird accent and mannerism (never seen a real Gujju with weird accent), Bengalis are always busy in Durga puja, and rest of the Indian regions like Kashmir, Rajasthan, north-eastern states etc. are ignored.

I hate the terrible hip-hop and unnecessary item numbers. That along with uncles who think they are still young studs trying to pull women 15+ years younger to them.

There are some movies which are BRILLIANT like Lagaan and Devdas. But I don't understand the need for rap and stuff in some Bollywood songs? Why????
@iamnothedwig9 жыл бұрын
higgsboson Haven't seen Lagaan but Devdas (2002 with SRK, Aishwarya and Madhuri) was brilliant... they're started doing this rap thing recently lol.... Also Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Dostana and My Name is Khan are brilliant too.
@MrALenCar3214 жыл бұрын
It wasn't official rap. Its underground rap in Mumbai.

People confusing regional movies for Bollywood. Bollywood makes some quite watchable movies, high budget shit too.
@piccolo5600010 жыл бұрын
thats funny , Bollywood doesn't do much shit at all most of the time anymore, the south movies are MILLION times better , because they have all the story and charisma , and Bollywood steals from them, Bollywood is an awesome industry now but still cant top up to south films which have more budget actually people internationally know , rajnikanth , Amit ji and Sharukh khan thats it!!!

Baijarangi Baijan was such a good movie. It was based on the conflict between Pakistan and India. God it was so beautiful. Not like your average cliche Bollywood movie. But don't get me wrong, I love the classic Sharukh Khan movies and his kind of recent ones like 'Om Shanti Om' (I'm aware that this movie isn't SUPER recent, but it is compared to his other ones) 'Happy New Year' was okay. AAAND Hrithik Roshan is the KING of Bollywood dance.

It's true that bollywood sucks as a rule. But that's probably true for all film industries. It's the outliers that matter. And bollywood does have many good outliers.
@galanoth1710 жыл бұрын
Ok so as a person who have watched shit loads of Bollywood movies, I can assure you that they also have original, innovative, intellectual movies that are not cliche. The only thing is that they still keep the songs, but you can just forward them. If you want to watch good movies from Bollywood then watch movies from Amir Khan, Farhan Akhtar, and Irrfan Khan . Those guys will usually deliver because they are deep thinkers and great actors. They go against the typical garbage spewed out by Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan and Akshay Kumar. Here are a few movies I recommend that are not like the movies mentioned in this video, but are great pieces of literature. PK 3 idiots Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. Karthik Calling Karthik 7 Khoon Maaf Yeh Saali Zindagi
