Agreed, he needs so much support. The whole group took such a hit when Wonho left, which hopefully he'll return now that his case is successfully closed, and also when people also tried to take him down as the leader of Monsta X with false allegations. And all because Monsta X was rising in fame. I can't imagine the amount of pressure Shownu was going through without being able to do a thing about it and Wonho's very unfortunate story was taking over. He was so calm throughout the whole thing, but we all know he was trying hard to hold himself together on the inside. It's so damn sad.

I'm not gonna lie, it sometimes hurts when I see MBB show so much love, support & recognition for every little thing that the other members do but seem to take Shownu for granted. I know it's not intentional but it still hurts. With his quiet & hidden support nature, it is easy to overlook him & we tend to do so quite often. So when I see videos like this or comments and posts showing him the love & support he deserves I get so emotional (I'm writing this with tears streaming down my face). He has been through so much, and withstood so much for us. The members have said multiple times that his presence gives them the confidence they need to do their things (shows etc). *Monbebe, I know you love all of them equally, bias n all but sometimes, maybe sometimes, can we show him a little love just as verbally n publicly as we do with the other members? Just because he's quiet and can handle the pressure does not mean that he should not be appreciated or praised for it because it is not easy.* I still remember when we saw the amount of weight he lost during the Follow era, we all panicked & poured out our love & concerns for him. It shouldn't be that we only act like that when his health is in danger or something, it should be all day, everyday just like the other members. Please love & appreciate him just as you love & appreciate the other members. Sometimes, a spoken word goes a long way. Thank you for reading my 3am ramblings. You're absolutely right! As a new Monbebe, I didn't really understand Shownu's quiet and strong presence until he left for enlistment in July. I have never missed an artist that I don't know so much in my entire life. His presence is irreplaceable and I for one will be doing a lot more to celebrate him!

I'm a new monbebe and i have noticed it too. He is often overlooked by monbebes itself. Even in some performance videos I have noticed how he gets the least attention from the audience. Also he isn't just an amazing dancer, he can sing amazingly too. He deserves a lot more love as an artist and a human ( his personality is another amazing quality of his). I am really happy to see a video like this. All the members are amazing and deserves the world. Hope they stay healthy and happy forever I miss him so much,

I’m a grown ass man following MONSTA X for a while now, and I love this guy with all of my heart. Really admire and respect him as a person, for his genuine kindness for those around him and passion for the work he does. His leadership is truly one of a kind in the industry. Couple that with a goofy personality, crazy amounts of talent, one heck of a stage presence, and god-like visuals. There is literally no reason to not love him. Just maybe, Shownu sometimes feels bad cuz he's not as affectionate as other members, and it really hurts me thinking of that. But honestly, i feel more comfortable and secure with people like him (kind of talk less and do more), Shownu has become my ideal type of man ever since i knew him. I knew their group way back 2015, because of their respectful behavior and fun fanboying to BigBang (since I’m a VIP too 🙋🏻‍♀️) at 2015 MAMA Awards; then, I really liked Kihyun’s voice and song for the kdrama She Was Pretty (this was 2016, I think 🤔), however I was more into kdramas before compared to being a kpop fan, that’s why I didn’t really delve on researching about their group. I recently gained interest of Monsta X because of Minhyuk’s handsome appearance at the archery competition with Rowoon, that’s why I searched for their group, but upon watching Monsta X’s videos, I literally fell in love with Shownu 😍 What’s not to love? Physical appearance wise? Check! Tall and has a nice body build together with a cute and charming face 😍. Talent wise? Check! An amazing dancer, a soulful singer and a competitive swimmer 🤩. Strength wise? Check! He’s literally strong, that’s why his members always rely on him whenever strength related matters are involved 💪🏻. Lastly, personality wise? Super CHECK! This aspect is really the reason why I super like him 👍🏻 • Yes, his confident, but his not the type who likes to show off; he knows his good qualities but doesn’t parade those like an egotistical and braggart person- he just shows those qualities when asked to or when it’s needed 👏🏻 • He is not greedy for attention; whenever he is with his group, notice how he is always on the side, and just gives the floor to his members. I know he is just quiet and sometimes shy, but regardless, he is not the type to do stuff just to attract attention from people 🙌🏻 • He tries his best in everything that he does. May it be in dancing, singing, exercising, leading the group, entertaining, being funny or even speaking in english. I watched their videos while promoting abroad, though there are more members who speaks well compared to him, I can see that he really tries his best to speak in english. And in my opinion, it’s better to see a person who charmingly tries his best than a person who is SLIGHTLY fluent in english but comes off boastful and looks like his silently criticizing his other members as if he doesn’t want them to talk because his ashamed of their responses 🙄 • He is an AWE-mazing all in one leader, I don’t know in reality, but from what I’ve seen so far, he is exceptional! I can see and feel that he has a big heart, not just for his members but in general. He takes good care of others, he is kind, he doesn’t get angry(the literal word) easily, he is a good sport, he is considerate of others, he is sweet in a manly manner, he just smiles or laughs whenever other people would tease him or say some negative words (I don’t really know how the korean culture goes, but for me, some of the words that are coming out of their mouths (or the way they say it) are audacious and insulting- it’s way too harsh) 🤨 Anyways, there are a lot more positive things that I could say to him but this comment is really long already, so I better stop here hehehe he is already 28 yrs old and 29 in korean age so I think his enlistment is already near, I’m sad just thinking about it, it will take years to see him again. Bummer, I just recently knew him 😭 Oh well, I just wish him the best of the best cause I believe he is good inside and out ♥️ Regardless of the issues that he has before, may it be with his love life or his vice/s, I DON’T CARE, everyone has vices and everyone makes mistakes, I just hope that he learned from those mistakes and he takes good care of his health. May he have fruitful years! 🌟 Oh!
