As a handsome independent man i can honestly say this is spot on. 👌🏽 I'm single no kids never been married. One of the common things I often hear from women i date or choose to see is "How come I'm not married? "When are you going to settle down? I simply reply ..... "When I'm ready".

Actually, I'm thinking that they're looking for a relationship, more than a husband, mate, partner, etc. That, and the drama that they can bring to said 'relationship' e.g. - the relationship is more important to them than the actual person. Just listen to a few women talking about their 'relationship', that should tell you what you need to know.

I don't think this matters as much if you make sure to get what you want out of them also. The problems we're having in society actually stem from mens inability to demand pretty much anything out of wmn these days, but if you're a man that's comfortable stating clear boundaries and putting her to work in your life? Then whatever she expects out of you will be earned, leading to far less resentment, imo.

We agreed to end the relationship if we don't feel like con ti being it. We've been married for almost 14 years. We are closer than ever. People who live by commitments are suffering - crime against nature. I do what I love doing, so no commitments are useful. No one ever created anything wonderful from a commitment.

By these definitions, I guess I’m a Sigma Male. I remember I had 2 opportunities in life to have women that I just bang without commitment. Different years of my life different women, both wanted me very badly, they were eager to do anything for me…but I didn’t want anything to do with them. I prefer to be alone, have my peace, and as they said in the video..be selective. The women I did give my time to, I made sure were worth it, if not… they were dismissed. I’ll refrain from running around calling myself a Sigma, but it’s nice to know why I am the way that I am.

Sigmas simply do a better job or really they are the only ones with the ability to strip away the veneer, the filters off of wmn and see them for what they truly are. I mean, really, this is what they do with their entire surrounding to be fair and in doing so, everything loses it's shimmer and shine and becomes a lot more dull, but still in 4k. It isn't just wmn tho...the "alpha" gets stripped as well as the beta and you almost start to laugh at the entirety of the game at this point, easily predicting each ones every move.

@@jeffvalasek4774 Call me skeptical. I've been reading a lot of comments of people that are adding their own specific/personal habits to what the video describes.. so that they can then prescribe an attribute to themselves. When the type of personality being described is a hyper specific collection of traits that only a fraction of the population possesses. From my observation, there seems to be a desire to feel special here, what better way to maintain independence, and yet be a part of a group at the same time. It isn't uncommon to think you are special.. But it contradicts the archetype being described. Infact, it is oxymoronic.
@jeffvalasek47748 ай бұрын
While true that not all traits are attributable to all at the same degree, it's useful to apply a judicious amount of discretion in evaluating individual posts Yes, of course there is/will be individual/personal differences in observations, but, at least for me, I am not 'understood' by many. Personally, it's been refreshing for me to find this... Community (Have I used enough 'politispeak?) Individual differences can account for quite a bit, and it helps to keep that in consideration Also, you may consider that I have a tendency to throw some manipulation/direction pointing in my personal posts, basically designed to elicit a reply from a specific type of individual. Appreciate the reply. Has me thinking.. And, I am in no way special, just different. No better, and no worse than anyone.

@@arielvega6344 Ok, just for kicks and giggles, and a quick surface analysis from this one post - Guessing that you're a mid 20's college student, dabbling at least a little in psychology. Enjoy debating, and reasonable discussion, but somewhat set in your views. Of course, there is much more there, but best not to dig too deeply here, for what should be obvious reasons. Curious - am I even close? Me - 64 years old, been through quite a bit. And, to be honest, having a problem figuring out why you chose to use the term 'oymoronic'. From the rest of your post, that doesn't seem to fit. You have a tendency to put people into categories? Myself, I've found that working on an individual level can be helpful in removing, as much as I can, for lack of a better term , 'personal prejudice against groups' from any analysis I come up with. Thanks for the discussion, Jeff
@arielvega63448 ай бұрын
@@jeffvalasek4774 Not too far off. I'm 28. And although, I didn't attend college, I was intellectually competent enough to take part in AP classes in the core studies from 5th grade up until half way through highschool. When I moved to Texas, Texas didn't acknowledge some of my credits. Which killed the morsel of curiosity that I had of attending higher learning, good thing too, I had no idea what I wanted. Still don't, but I've done well enough with my own two hands. I've lived a few lives in a short time met different kinds of people of all different kinds of backgrounds.. I've done country living, to project housing to where I am now a suburbanite mountainman (lol) in the northeast. My heart calls for the freedom of the South though.. I've learn that most people are not so different; we were all children that turned to teenagers that got older trying to figure it out. Some get too wrapped up in it trying to get it "correct", where "being right" becomes obsession. I think where the confusion may lie when I said "oxymoronic".. is the topic at hand. Which deals in archetypes, by its very nature it's a categorical metric. Ex. Sigma, Beta, Alpha, Omega blah, blah, blah. You get it. To some degree, I think it's magical nonesense like horoscopes... But more so because it's been polluted by the nature of popularity. However, from my own personal experience, I don't believe that categories are an ineffective means for predictions. I guess the most important note is that, IF, we do categorize it's meant to be used as a guide. I'd say it's comparable to a food recipe when cooking. (Not so much for baking, baking requires precise measurements of ingredients, which is comparable to individuals that are more unstable. Because if you are off by a teaspoon, it could ruin or alter the final outcome of the recipe) I think cultural differences would likely determine the dish and a persons experience would determine the intensity of certain "seasonings", and our flaws would be some of our intolerances. And you learn those flaws the more you interact with an individual.. I guess you could say I taste test a lot to get the appropriate flavors for the most genuine means for relatability. In the simplest words, watch what it does, poke with my finger or with a stick, watch what it does... and act accordingly. And we build or rebuild depending on circumstance of learned behavior/information. If it's a dog, I might not mess with it depending on what the tail is doing. If I see a turtle, I throw my nephew at it so I can run away. Proportional responses are in order. But ultimately I think, that if we operated under the assumption of potentially being wrong.. We are more likely to get things correct, than to be "lost in the weeds" on the path to trying to be right. I do believe that being "correct" (logos) and being ethically "righteous" (pathos) are synonmously aligned through the pursuit of truth to achieve (ethos). And to balance these ideas is to stand the tight rope of rationality and ethics, I hold this to be principley true to my core. So yes, there are some views that I am set in. "The pathway to hell is paved in good intentions [but yet] the devil is [still] in the details".
