When I first started experimenting with makeup, I wore a full face for a friend's wedding. Although I felt like I had done a good job with the application, to my horror, my foundation started pilling in the car. I was so self-conscious while hanging out with all my friends. Since then, I've learned to let my skincare absorb fully for a few minutes before applying makeup. Now I start my skincare, put on my outfit, and then apply my makeup as a final step before getting ready to head out the door.
@rosethorn02322 ай бұрын
Sometimes pilling is also actually sunscreen! Certain sunscreens just pill right off my face with very little blending, so even if you put makeup over that it just continues to pill and look gross. 😢
@annajansen69452 ай бұрын
It's so hard to have a good base with sunscreen. Foundations with SPF aren't a good solution because you would have to use a huge amount of foundation to really get an SPF 30 If this is advertised on the foundation package. The amount of necessary foundation to have sun protection would make you look like Maredith Duxbury, it's a scam. So it seems like there is no solution for me.
@nyanyancatz2 ай бұрын
try a stick sunscreen or korean sunscreens! there’s lots of videos of people trying various sunscreens and then applying makeup on top, and it’s perfect! you also need to let your skincare and sunscreen set for about 15 mins before applying makeup :)

@ Person, try tinted moisturiser instead, hourglass is great, Chanel water fresh tint, Mac strobe dewy skin tint. These are much lighter than foundation, but you can also mix moisturiser with your foundation, and overall, use a lot less product. Hope this helps

I have large pores and very oily skin, so for years I'm trying different methods and your videos are helping but I have a question.. If I use a primer for large pores, using a brush moves the product from my skin, I noticed that on my nose, primer doesn't work, looks white dots as you showed even with primer, and so oily and patchy after applying powder, even if it's a thin layer... I would love a video for oily skin with large pores 😅❤

You could try using setting spray between products or a tiiiiiiny bit of setting powder lightly on the more problem areas before foundation.
