Under sizing battery. You need to do load auditing before determining the numbers of batteries required for each job. Also, the necessary solar panels. You may have enough panel but if your loads don't match up with the capacity or number of batteries needed, it will under serve during sun set. Well done, as an engineer, I enjoyed this video .

How can I size my solar panels for 100amps battery?
@oduduafangide638014 күн бұрын
This is my issue. I asked an installer to give me a solar solution for my 100w freezer and 4 fans 60w each he said my TV and bulbs are not important. The panels produce 300w on average but the pv indicators show at the highest 14 amps. The issue I have is that when there is no grid power the scc finds it difficult to change the battery. I am forced to switch off the inverter for sometime during the day and my freezer at 6pm. I have complained to the installer and he is yet to give me an intelligible response to the problem. Any suggestions?

Watching from 🇺🇸 I like the video content plus subtitles helps, very well spoken/ illustrated The biggest problem with DC and solar panel power is just like you said you can’t treat it like AC power and use it like whenever you feel like it. You have to be conservative and use only what you need when you need it. Really should practice that with AC grid power too. That being said, can you go into relays as well as thermostat controlled refrigerator to inverter switch so you’re not using energy that you don’t need to.. Only powers on when thermostat calls for power, turns off when thermostat temperature is reached. It’s very important to cut off any parasitic draws in a DC system. That are running power unnecessarily.. picking UL listed components as well as picking standby draw watts to the lowest you can… Properly matched UL listed components, as well as being budget friendly.
