That’s a fair review 🌻 That pricing is insane. If you spec a sunroof, it’s probably R40k more. So you can actually get a whole 4x4 with leather and a sunroof for R60k less if you’re open to considering other brands. That scratchy doors, yoh. It’s in my current 2020 R Line T cross as well. My one also started rolling backwards, I’m I’m over it.

I’ll never stop laughing at you regarding Cops😂😂 - Been on the 1.5TSI DSG since August, you have to get used to a take off otherwise it’s easy to wheel spin. That rollback is a thing!! Always get surprised by it. Otherwise you’re right though, not a bad car at all. Ceramic knife? Coz that’s where I experienced a breaking knife as well…

When someone says Fayf Hundred Tawa for a 1L engine, my brain just says Polo GTI. But comparing apples to apples, I would go for a Mazda CX3 2L Individual. I makes more financial sense.

Ai, that stop start lag is a problem, also hope they improved the noise cancellation on rough tar. Otherwise i have enjoyed the T-cross on long trips. T-cross always needed a Sunroof, and better interior, amongst its market….it beats most of the other cars….VW is just generally now overpriced, but the T-cross stands out in it’s segment

Also, for over 500k, they should have at-least made the car 1.5L as base, and scrap the whole 1.0L. It still performs decently, but a bit more Engine power would make the pricing make sense. The other extras are not so important if the cars Engine is not up to par with the pricing. And for that reason, i wouldn’t consider getting this model. For that price, i would try my luck with something with a bit of power….like they should have spec it to the Toyota croses 110kw. This would have been an ideal car, because its almost priced the same as a Polo

FYI. T-Cross does not come with sunroof. Never have probably never will. Something to do with its design and price in their other catalogue. Key design still outdated, sucks they still have not done keyless start as standard. I own the outgoing 2024 1.5l in silver

A beautiful car indeed but the most hijacked car as well. You'll always look behind you every second for your safety and the oricing is too high considering that the Tiggo 4 has a base model that cost less than R280k its big enough as well. With R500k plus i would opt for Mahindra XUV 700 or CX 5 mazda mid spec.
