Yes, Mark, your daughter is a lovely person, from the inside out! OP, I have had the same experience…someone who listened, was fully present with me, and acted like she was not only proud to be seen with me, but honored to be in my company, when this was…not my typical, daily experience. She helped me see myself so differently, I started to see the same thing and decided I didn’t need drugs anymore. This was after my supervised probation ended, and there was a year when it wasn’t a choice. I had 4 years of probation, but for some reason, they only tested me for one of those years. That’s when I got to know someone like this. Someone who treats you like a human being when others don’t can make a huge difference. I wish Rebecca could have a year when she has to try being sober. I think she would like all the things she would be able to do, especially toward the end of it. With friends who appreciate her, like Olivia, she might not need to go back!

My son is one of the most empathetic people I know. He once told me how he chose to sit beside a homeless person on the bus (even though there were a lot of seat available). Olivia and Rebecca! So beautiful to see the angelic presence you have brought into her life - and she into yours! You're shared care is exquisite. Wishing her self-love and self compassion on her healing journey.

Your daughter is so beautiful and you can tell she's so sweet and kind. Touching Rebecca is a huge sign of empathy, she doesn't care what Rebecca has been through or what they are going through she's just there.

This video touched my heart in so many ways it’s indescribable, if it wasn’t for the Olivia’s of the world so many people would feel alone and this gives hope to anybody feeling unloved or unwanted the message that not everybody is the same. God Bless You Olivia ,Girlies like you leave a serious impact in such a gentle way ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Your daughter is wonderful and clearly empowered in the way you have raised her! AND as a professional in substance use disorders I'm glad you are transparent and honest with Rebecca about how this attention may be enabling. I know your intentions are pure, there's no doubt, however the impact of our actions care little of our intentions. There are a lot of funerals I was never able to attend for the people I've tried my best to serve, please don't let Rebecca be another soul to mourn. Much love and godspeed ❤

After 25 years of enabling my younger brother, I finally had to walk away after this last relapse. I have so much guilt and sadness. Based on your comment and being a professional in this area, do you think that was the right thing to do? He's a mean and violent drunk and it scares me, I couldn't take it anymore. He's also one of my favorite humans when he's sober. It's just a sad situation ❤️

Rebecca has lived 1000 lives and she amazes and amuses me every time I see a video with her. Never a dull moment and when she talks it’s like watching my brain while I’m having a panic attack. A million miles a second. Many blessings to Rebecca. ❤️

@@lenaannis8787 Interesting enough, I watched the video all thru, then "watched" it again but was doing something else (not watching but only listened as I perused the comment section)...the 2nd time, I could understand what Rebecca was saying much, much better, without the distractions of Rebecca wiggling around on her stool. Try just listening to it only and see if it makes a difference.

it's hard to watch this, seeing how much everyone loves Rebecca, seeing how happy and enthusiastic she can be about things she likes, but then to realise probably nothing will change. It doesn't make sense to me from the outside, i don't think it can. The amount of love and opportunity she's been provided, but still continues down this path.

strange how so many are 'rah rah'- rebecca has become an idol. todays many youth have a developed a preverted twisted to be popular. and what you get is a tragic mess of slow suicide. you can care for them but not rah rah the behavior.

Sometimes genuine loving someone means loving them for whom they are and with what they choose to do in life, not just by if they are and do what you want for them, knowing it is not about yourself or what you want.
@davef591615 күн бұрын
@@betsybabf748 This is true, well said. I just find it sad and find it hard to understand. I genuinely think they all do love Rebecca for who she is not what they want her to be, thats what makes it hard, because that path shes on leads to darkness.
@YoursTrulyThelma15 күн бұрын
@@betsybabf748That's true. Societal norms don't allow for different lifestyle choices not to mention she probably has dealt with a lot of rejection of who she is. There's got to be trauma there and God only knows what's happened to her on Skid Row, one of f the most dangerous places in the US. A life filled with trauma and rejection probably makes her feel like she can't be authentic but when she gets high she can be authentic. That's who she is when she's high just a little faster because of the meth. She only feels free to be her when she's high which is probably why she got high right before the interview.

MARK THANK YOU for allowing your daughter on the channel she is such a beautiful human being for coming talking to Rebecca and making her special. I have been watching your channel for about a year now and I know all the ups and downs you’ve had with Rebecca running off for months at a time, no respect after you get her hotels and giving her money after she keeps losing it or getting robbed immediately.
