I was (am) her age when I was shitting on Friday. I was a bully. Alot of us were because we saw ourselves in that. Like "If i did that, i'd get bullied so let me bully this person" and its sad. I always found the angry reactions to that song surprising. I can understand people thinking it was bad but I thought it was hilarious, it brought me so much joy at the time and continues to do so. "Bad" songs that are famous for being bad are not really that bad. If they were completely bad you wouldn't even listen to them for a joke, but the ones that really catch on like this are usually kind of good on some level. You can't deny it's catchy as hell. And I just don't understand why people hated her? There was no malice to it, just an absurd teenage decision propped up by a lot of money. Her career would be a positive story if it wasn't for all the weird negativity that creepy, weird, bitter people projected onto her. I'm glad she's doing well.
