[English description below] Bereits der Großvater und der Vater von Rebecca Groom te Velde waren professionelle Organisten. Und sie studierte u.a. bei ihrem Vater (der Professor an der Seattle Pacific University war) und in Belgien und in Deutschland. Neben ihrer Tätigkeit als Organistin in Stillwater, Oklahoma, ist sie Dozentin an der Oklahoma State University und ebenso schaffensreiche Komponistin. Ihr "Easter Song - Tuba Tune" über den Choral "Lasst uns erfreuen" ist ein feierliches Stück, in dem die eigentliche Choralmelodie mit der Solotrompete umspielt erklingt und in einem großem Crescendo endet.
Aufgenommen am 16. Mai 2023 | Christoph Bartusek an der Orgel (Weimbs 2009 - 26/II/P - nach Gebr. Stumm) von St. Peter / Rheinberg.
Die Tonaufnahme erfolgte im Raum mit vier Kanälen, Bildaufnahmen am Spieltisch mit einer Videokamera, Tablet sowie Smartphone und vom Pedal mit einer Videokamera.

Rebecca Groom te Velde's grandfather and father were already professional organists. And she studied, among other things, with her father (who was a professor at Seattle Pacific University) and in Belgium and Germany. In addition to her work as an organist in Stillwater, Oklahoma, she is a lecturer at Oklahoma State University and an equally creative composer. Her "Easter Song - Tuba Tune" based on tune "Lasst uns erfeuen" is a solemn piece in which the actual chorale melody is played with the solo trumpet and ends in a large crescendo.
