Nikos Galis, the reason why my whole generation could play basketball more or less (well, I played more ...). Baketball became an identity marker for us young men and women in the 80's. Many thanks to the biggest ball artist!

Never watched a WNBA game but I remember the year UCONN won the title. Opened up a great decade of NE sports: the men's title couple years later & the Red Sox & Patriots championships. Classy speech.
