The greatest to ever play basketball in Western Massachusetts. Seems very proud and never forgot where she was from. Very humble. Congratulations!

i started watching women's college basketball in 1994 when i saw a girl by the name of Rebecca Lobo play..i had NEVER seen a girl hoop like that! I've been a die hard crazy UConn fan ever since and watch and care about women's college ball much more than men's and i have Rebecca to thank for that introduction... #bleedblue

Watching Rebecca play was an amazing event at the time--tremendous. My high school did not have womens basketball ( Crafton High ). One of my classmates was very good,with any real coaching I felt she would have played college and mybe more. I love womens basketball and players as Rebecca to play, win championships and play pro.She and those following her the best!!!Yes a awesome speech- and a awesome presenter- coach !!!!!!!

Respect to Mrs. Lobo and all the other inductees. My question is, why Toni Kukoč is not in the hall of fame? These are his accolades: 3× NBA champion (1996-1998), NBA Sixth Man of the Year (1996), NBA All-Rookie Second Team (1994), 3× EuroLeague champion (1989-1991), 2× EuroBasket champion (1989, 1991), 4× Yugoslav League champion (1988-1991), 2× Yugoslav Cup winner (1990, 1991), Italian League champion (1992), Italian Cup winner (1993), 3× Croatian Sportsman of the Year (1989-1991), FIBA World Cup MVP (1990), 3× EuroLeague Final Four MVP (1990, 1991, 1993), 4× Mister Europa Player of the Year (1990-1992, 1996), 5× Euroscar Player of the Year (1990, 1991, 1994, 1996, 1998), FIBA EuroBasket MVP (1991), FIBA's 50 Greatest Players (1991), 50 Greatest EuroLeague Contributors (2008). Thank you for your considuration. Congratulation to all of this years inductees.

Ja Nisam so as Vlade Divac
@MrPricamtiprice17 жыл бұрын
Yes Vlade is a legend in his own right, but regarding Hall of fame i like Peja Stojaković better. Here are Peja's accolades: NBA champion (2011), 3× NBA All-Star (2002-2004), All-NBA Second Team (2004), 2× NBA 3-Point Shootout champion (2002, 2003), NBA three-point field goals leader (2004), FIBA EuroBasket MVP (2001), EuroLeague Top Scorer (1998), Greek League MVP (1998), 2x Greek All Star Game MVP (1997, 1998), 2× Mister Europa Player of the Year (2001, 2002), Euroscar Player of the Year (2001), Yugoslavian Most Valuable Young Player (1994), No. 16 retired by Sacramento Kings. So with all do respect to Mr. Divac in my humble opinion Peja would deserve it more. And on that note i think it's long overdo for Chicago Bulls to retire Dennis Rodman and Toni Kukoč jerseys.

One of my favorite atheletes of all time, male or female. I've seen some great athletes in the last 30 years since I've been paying attention to sports and she's for sure in the Top 10. Well deserved. Also, I've always found her attractive and have had a slight crush on her cause she's badass.

Beautiful speech! Rebecca was very emotional at the end. It’s great to see all the players Gino inspired not only on the basketball court but also in their personal lives. Just a minuscule mistake in the speach it’s not “… because of you…” but “… thanks to you…” Respectfully of course

Rebecca lobo may have been a good player, but she is a garbage pundit, and bad for the wnba. Either get her some media training, or don’t allow her on espn since she talks down to fans and other tv personalities alike, constantly contradicts herself, and is transparently one of the most hypocritical people in sports media

There needs to be a separate NBA Hall of Fame
@localone15974 жыл бұрын
Not really sure why she made it into the Hall of Fame? I think there are too many average players in the Hall. Hall of Fame should be for the superior players. But that would probably knock 3/4's of them out. I know she had an outstanding college career but for college, if you're a good player, its easier to dominate because the competition isn't there like the men's college.
