One tip my managers have given me over the years is "If we call someone up for an interview, they already have the skills needed on paper. The personal interview is to see who they are as a person and to see if they fit in with the personality of the company." Confidence in what you do with a healthy dosage of being open to taking in info will get you far.

The whole point of STEM is to exclude the arts. Not saying one's better than the other, just that they are distinct. If you include Arts, that's literally just everybody, which is fine... but why would you need an acronym for it. That's like me saying "I support BaN, binaries and non-binaries" or "I support AaNA, Asians and Non-Asians". Everything on earth falls into one category or the other, or they're in both, so the acronym loses all meaning. I have a BA and a BS, there's value in both, but adding an A to STEM to be more inclusive sounds silly. Not because Arts are silly, but because there's no need for any acronym at all at that point.
