Timely video (even 7 months after you posted) as I just ordered 3 Queen of Sweden and 1 Alexandra of Kent bare-root roses. I haven't been very successful in my past growing roses, but I am hopeful these quality roses will give me the edge I need.

I felt so happy to hear all you tips about the hot climates when you talk about the large country of USA. Here in Brazil, where 80% of the land is under tropical, the mostly content about gardening come from the 20% part, and they barely speak about how to care seasonal plant on here... I live in a coastal humid city under tropic, do you think that protecting them from the strong hours of the sun I could grown english roses and peonies here?!

Thank you. During the past 8 month, we've seen interest in roses and DAR soar. Happy to do what we can to educate the newbies. The main thing is not to be scared. Roses are just flowering shrubs.

Well you burst my bubble. I live in Fl zone 9. I have a cottage garden in full sun facing W. It gets scorching afternoon sun. I was wanting a couple Gertrude Jeykell. Now i just don’t know if any David Austin roses would work.

Mine went all wild looking and deformed had to dig them all out not sure what kind of disease this is but my neighbor had it too. Not sure if it’s in the dirt but all my roses got it. I’m in zone 8 or 9 Roses remind me of my grandmother who lived in England.

Hi Rebecca, would it look too odd to have two different colors of roses on each side of an arch? I can only purchase two plants but I would really love to have a Claire Austin and a Gertrude Jekyll. Thank you for your time.

I just received my roses I ordered last year. I’m not happy with heritage rose only has two canes. Not a #1 rose. Who can I call to talk to? Any help would be appreciated.
