It is my opinion that this has to be the most sensual scene ever placed on film. Forget the simulated sex of any years hit movie. Forget the full frontal nudity of the most gorgeous ever shot. Forget pornography. Without showing the obvious bits and pieces this sexual dance conveys what everyone, men and women, can only grasp in our most fevered dreams.
Make no mistake I am a woman and consider myself, for the most part, straight. But I cannot deny the wanton urge that Ms. Romijn presents here.
Her body is perfection. I do not just mean that in the descriptive sense. She is not too thin or overly rubenesque. She is a woman who has taken quiet care of herself...for herself. Her muscle tone is exquisite. The tone of her skin is in perfect balance with her blonde locks and blue eyes.
Her choice of lingerie is, almost unbelievably, chaste in the modern sense. No G string. No itsy bitsy bra. It is not needed to convey the sensuality of Ms. Romijn.
Notes about the film itself:
The film Femme Fatale was shot in 2002. It stars Rebecca Romijn and Antonio Banderas and is directed by Brian De Palma. It is, in a word, a disastrous film. The dialogue is stilted, unoriginal and banal. The editing is....well....crap. The story ludicrous, the shooting of scenes atrocious. Ms Romijn has some good points but unfortunately her acting in this film is subpar(fortunately...its gotten better in recent years). Except for one quite humorous scene where Mr. Banderos plays gay, his acting is not up to his best. I would note however that in the final moments of this scene there is a great take of Antonio watching Rebecca getting mauled and basically sighs and silently says dammit I have to go fight now. That's a giggle. The only redeeming thing in this film is this dance. However, taken in context with the rest of the film, Brian De Palma was clearly exploiting Ms. Romijn's sexuality.
That said, this scene is set to the original music for the film. For some reason this part of the film is not in it's entirety on KZbin and is not attached with the actual music of the scene. The music is French house with the name Sexe by Damien Saez.
