I know Mark means well, but listening to them argue over the same old issue is exhausting. Don't get me wrong, I'm rooting for her, too, but what about accountability? You can't be mad at her for losing phones and wasting opportunities when it's clear this person is unwell. It needs to be baby steps-detox, mental health evaluation, rehab, meds, therapy, sober living-and then maybe you can help with a phone, clothes, an ID, and the immigration process.

As someone who is also Egyptian (well, half) and living in my native Britain, for me, I couldn't care less if Rebecca is a transsexual or homosexual, but what concerns me and should concern everyone watching this is her lack of accountability. Saying that "drugs are not the issue" is categorically false. If they want proof of this, they just have to look in the mirror; being gay or trans doesn't make you look and act like this. I recognise that I am judging her, but she does have a fantastic opportunity to become a success story, but that takes time, work, dedication, and an ability to adapt and change. In contrast, Rebecca is clearly still wanting instant rewards. I truly hope they can find peace, utilise the opportunity, and become successful at whatever they put their mind to in a healthy way.

If Rebecca doesn't get stabilized she will not make it off of the streets. Street drugs, including meth, are often laced today with Fentanyl and they are deadly. My middle aged son was mentally ill and homeless for years, he overdosed from a laced drug, he didn't make it. He too needed to be stabilized but outdated laws prohibit forced treatment. It's a really tough life out there.

I think you’re going to have to hold her hand every step of the way till it clicks. I guarantee that as soon as she starts coming off of a high, she starts thinking about her circumstances, and it becomes overwhelming, and so then she gets high again. She needs to have something in place for when she gets off her high. Someplace she can go to be taken care of for the first few months.she’s got a lot of unraveling to do and that is extremely overwhelming for someone like her. And then hold her hand every step of the way through her social media empire.

I watch these videos all the time but THIS is one I needed to comment on, Mark. You are so patient. All of Rebecca’s problems seem to stem from one excuse to another. When you pressed her on the drugs, she said “I need them to live”. What BS! That’s a choice. Every excuse and help you’ve given her or offered her, she just keep making excuses!!! You were the kind of tough on her which she needed and rightfully so! Every suggestion you gave her, she always made excuses! I agree she’s lazy! An excuse for a shower??? All she appears to want to do is do drugs and sit around and have things given to her! All her choices is using the ones trying to help her. I’m sorry but this was the most infuriating interview ever! Sounds like you’ve helped her a lot! She doesn’t want to help herself. She’s manic because she’s NOT on drugs and can’t cope without them. She needs rehab and to get sober and have psych help. As an RN, I see this everyday! That’s HER problem to help herself. At least you held her feet to the fire 🔥 She’s a total trainwreck that won’t listen or help herself! She seems to work everyone she talks to. Thanks, Mark!

Rebecca can be medically detoxed but I think its the fear of living life sober. Once the physical addiction is over, its the mental part that is terrifying. Shes afraid of how to deal with her memories without drugs and also you have to remember that the lifestyle is also addictive. Alcoholics will tell you that sometime a whiff of a cigarette will make them want to drink, or hearing a song that they played often at their favorite hole in the wall bar. Rebecca will have a hard time walking or driving down the streets of LA without romanticizing the homeless sleeping on the streets. In my opinion a whole new environment is what is needed.

Even though Rebecca continues to give him every excuse to drop her, Mark persists with keeping her featured. Assuming its done for the right reasons, that's commendable behavior.
