Due fazioni?? Rotelle e lama?? Io amo i pattini sul ghiaccio , i pattinatori russi ed ucraini sono i più bravi! Anche questa coppia Italiana è stata brava, ma negli anni '90 ,non esisteva la coppia d'artistico italiani, ma gareggiavano le coppie di danza! Artistico maschili erano penosi

I had no idea roller skating could like like figure skating. It's gorgeous. And honestly it looks a fair bit harder, the footwork he was doing to keep the spin momentum. 🤩

Apparently a lot of Ice skaters started on roller skates. Some even started competing on quads before ice, Tara Lapinski, Brian Boitano. It's actually considered harder than ice skating too. It's amazing what they can do on quads, here I am just trying to balance on one leg on mine 😅

In mid 1960’s I would spend most Saturday afternoons at the skating rink. No one was doing even small portion of this awesome program. I’ve never seen anything of this level on TV

I imagine that roller skating in some ways is much harder than ice skating because it's harder in roller skating to get the speed you need in order to do some of the jumps and rotations they are doing!

With out seeing skates you would think on ice.spins on back wheels and heel down toes up edge shows versitility of a plate vs blade. Very well done. They deserve to be champions

Oh wow, this is absolutely beautiful. Why roller figure skating isn't in the Olympics is beyond me. Undeserving sports like beach volleyball and golf are, lol.

I was a competitive roller figure skater in the 60’s & 70’s. We tried so hard to get it into the Summer Olympic Games but it just never took hold. I agree that it should be there!!

I also was a competitve roller skater in the 70's and 80's. I so hoped that they would get it into the Olympics. The farthest it ever went was a National competition. I heard it didn't make the Olympics because roller skating was not popular enough in other countries. Maybe this will change!

We all wanted to be able to compete but the Olympic organization couldn’t figure out the scoring... I figure it was more about competing with ice. Makes no sense. Ice could have been winter and roller summer. But noooooo.... 🙂

Our Federation petition for years to be an Olympic sport even if it would have been Summer Olympics. Reason said was that we didn't have Countries involved in the Sport.The Olympic Committee would never allow both at the Winter games. After years of petitioning Roller Artistic, Speed, Hockey got the invite for the Pan Am Games. What you see done on Ice we also do on Roller Skates.

Whoa. It's almost October 2023 and I was today years old when I discovered this is even a thing. Definitely should be an Olympic sport...because while these two are as smooth as room temperature butter, this art form looks hard as Chinese arithmetic.

Unbelievable!! I figure skated in my youth and we also had roller skating in our town and by far I think roller skating is harder. The falls were worse on your body. I had no idea that roller skating is that advanced. Why on earth is it not an Olympic sport? I’m truly in awe☺️
