Volume 1, Book 4, Number 148: Narrated 'Aisha: The wives of the Prophet used to go to Al-Manasi, a vast open place (near Baqia at Medina) to answer the call of nature at night. 'Umar used to say to the Prophet "Let your wives be veiled," but Allah's Apostle did not do so. One night Sauda bint Zam'a the wife of the Prophet went out at 'Isha' time and she was a tall lady. 'Umar addressed her and said, "I have recognized you, O Sauda." He said so, as he desired eagerly that the verses of Al-Hijab (the observing of veils by the Muslim women) may be revealed. So Allah revealed the verses of "Al-Hijab" (A complete body cover excluding the eyes).

9:17 yes it might seem confusing but here's the thing when a person searches for the truth and the right religion with sincerity Allah Al-Haadi (He Who Guides) guides them to Islam. It's the effort and sincerity that matters the most. I'd also like to add, when a person dives into learning and looking up the religions, the person will certainly see that Islam is the truth and it will answer all the questions and clear the confusion. Truth is perfect, clear and it's far from contradictions. What I got from the video is the realization that no matter what person beliefs are, if they have a pure heart and pure intentions when they are living this life and when they are searching for the truth, then they shall find it. Whereas a person who has a bad heart even if he/she hears something beautiful they can't accept it, because that beauty cannot reach their hearts. So purifying the hearts by doing good things in this life that will leave a positive impact on others and lifting each other up since we all share the human experience is really what can purify ones heart. Reading and experiencing things for your self, and not listening to the stereotypes of people or the media. Starting from working on our selfs is the only way we can hope for a better change in this world.

Interestingly what you liked about questioning and answering them are the questions and their answers as Allah mentions them in Quran I would go and read them one by one. It's really nice to hear a brother and sister talk about a deep issue like this, especially when one of you is not religious. It would be nice to be able to talk freely like this as a society without people feeling uncomfortable. It's not the kind of thing people want to talk about - we're always told not to discuss religion and politics but I find them both interesting. It would be good to hear what people who are not Muslim thought of the scientific knowlege in the Quran - if it has proven that the Quran has not been changed then how could have illiterate man from the desert know all this? What do they think of the contributions of the Islamic world to maths, science etc? It would be good to have a video on this. I was born a Muslim but I did not understand my religion until I was aggressively verbally attacked by atheists in a new workplace- they did me a huge favour, they converted me to Islam (not their intention!) - I was convinced by the scientific knowledge in the Quran.

alsalamu alaikom dear sister and greeting to your brother ..May ALLAH guides him to Islam .. he seems kind and clever so if he searched for the truth he will be Muslim one day .. personally i observed your brother Ben like get shocked when the Muslim guy state the fact about after life .. it was like Ben didn't think of this before or like he was not aware that there is a judgement day and there is an afterlife and the keys to pass afterlife to heaven is by worshiping one god as the way he wants to be worshiped and do good and this applies to ISLAM .. also i want to recommend brother BEN " i am sorry if i don''t spell the name right " .. i advice him to see NDE " near death experience " it is a global experience people from different ideologies..background .. Muslims ..atheist...buddhists.hindu..jews..christians.......etc all when they pass the NDE they come back to believe in the after life and this experience mostly occurs during accidents / COMA / a very dangerous situation between life and death ... so the god almighty makes these people see some of the afterlife .. for reasons . and when an atheist says he confirms that there is an after life and there is a powerful source who created this universe than even those atheists believed in after life after they passed NDE .. I hope you see more videos about this .. not because it is only way to prove after death no of course ..there is million way to prove there is an after life like the Quran .. the AHADITH of prophet Mohammed .. The fitrah .. the return of dead plants par example .. the strong urge in our souls that there is justice and superpower in the universe .. the dreams we see the sleep like our souls left our bodies and in the morning finds its way back ..the old books..the old civilizations .. the scriptures ....etc so many proofs..but i feel like it is a good start to start from NDE experiences of people from all the world
