Today, I helped to give CPR to my student's Mom. She had a stroke as she was picking up her child. She is in critical condition now and the doctors said the CPR saved her life. I thought about the song God only Knows since my student tonight is staying at her neighbors house without her Mom and Dad. The song came back to me today as I processed what happened. I didn't realize that For King and Country were Rebecca St James brothers. These guys were so talented even back in the late 90s when I got to direct their sister's concert in Hawaii. I think the youngest was 9 and he was schooling our lighting crew on gels and the spotlights. Their family was the epitome of a Family in Ministry. Glad to see them united here for Rebecca's album and that they made a difference. I am also thankful to have made a difference today as well.

We have played this song over and over again in our house. My hubby and I saw Rebecca St. James in concert when I was in grad school years ago. It is SO nice to see here here praising Jesus with her brothers, who are also one of our favorites. Oh wow this is so inspirational. I took my mother and father to see Rebecca in Raytown(Kansas city) Missouri many many years ago. I just finished the movie on Netflix and had no idea it was about Rebecca and her family. Brought back some great memories. I prayed the phrase (but not my will but yours be done) in march last year. I didn't know exactly why but I knew it was the right prayer. I found out later that my mom and several other family members had prayed the same thing. Our view of what we hoped wasn't to be and it's been eating at me for what feels like a long time (now 10 and a half months). I don't have just about any of the answers but regarding that prayer, this song reminds me how amazing heaven must be and that every good thing is made by God. It's just hard for me to wrap my head around sometimes but it's encouraging
