I've always love Rebekah. Despite all the failed relationships, she never stops trying. Never gives up on love. My favourite scene was the one where she drove out of New Orleans. Her smile was just divine.

That is my fave Rebekah scene overall. She was free and she was happy. Literally. That's all I wanted for her. I hated seeing her leave because she was my favourite Original, but it was what she needed and what she'd fought for so long. I only wish she got to raise Hope a bit longer. I absolutely loved that scene too! you can tell Rebekah hadn't genuinely smiled in ages, and at that moment, her smile was genuine. she felt so free and happy. I've always loved Rebekah too, and she'll forever be one of my favorite fictional tv females. The thing that I love about Rebekah is that she always tried to do the right thing, despite being constantly belittled and scorned for loving too easily. Rebekah deserves the world, and her story is just so heartbreaking. She loves her family and would stop at nothing to protect them, even if it meant herself getting hurt.

And I don't exactly remember when was up with Kol, Finn, or Elijah but they have murdered many innocent people but they have owned up to their mistakes.

Diego Rodriguez dude it’s the originals and vampire diaries none are good ppl by our standards as humans - yet the characters are beautifully written and u love them despite their behaviors (my favs for example are klaus, Rebekah, and Katherine - they’d all be terrible irl but idc since it’s a TV show and at least klaus has amazing character development so does Rebekah although she’s always been a girl who just wants love and tries - not villainous compared to klaus or Katherine).

I really think rebekah has the best relationship with all her siblings. (Except finn) Klaus says that rebekah is his favorite sibling despite all their fights, rebekah did everything to get kol back from the dead, elijah and rebekah always have sibling moments and she was the first sibling to see freya as a sister. Rebekah will always and forever be my fave.

Rebekah just wanted to be loved, but she got a raw deal. She was the one who put all the time, attention, and love into all of her lovers but all of them even Marcel turned their backs on her and stabbed her right in the back sometimes even literally. But her true loves, were right in front of her the whole time. Her brothers. Even though, her and her brothers have legit stabbed each other or her mainly just to end an argument, they still loved her and they always looked out for their baby sister. Rebekah was the only one who stuck by Klaus's side through everything, not Elijah, not Kol, or Finn. She's been betrayed so many times, that she doesn't see it when she's being used in a relationship because she's blinded by love. She is also very misunderstood or judged. Hypocrites like Elena didn't try to see Rebekah's true self because they thought she was some sick, dangerous monster that can't be trusted. She's actually very sweet, protective, and goofy but she was turned into this girl who has very strong walls built up from being betrayed so many times, and not to mention Michael attempting to kill her wherever she goes. I mean the only person who actually took the chance to see Rebekah's true self except her brothers, was Matt. But of course, she got let down again. Matt really had seen Rebekah's true and inner self and he trusted her. He loved her. If everyone in The Vampire Diaries weren't always bending over backwards to save poor Elena, they could've had a chance. Many people just used to Rebekah to figure out how to kill her family or get to her brothers. Elena had always wondered why Rebekah hated her, but it's pretty clear why Rebekah hates her so much. Even when Rebekah had done nothing to her, Elena just had to try and kill her or attempt to destroy her family. In one episode of the Vampire Diaries, I remember Elena grabbing a pencil and attempting to throw it at Rebekah but since she's an original and her senses are heightened, she was able to catch it and throw it back and actually hit Elena then Elena puts on her good girl act and say "Why does she hate me so much!? I didn't think I was capable of hate, but I hate her. I hate her so much!" Elena needs to grow up. I love Nina Dobrev, but Elena's character and personality was annoying. Legit everyone had almost gotten killed or bent over backwards just so little Elena could be protected. For example, Damon. He only slept with Rebekah and told her that he "wanted her" was so after they had s*x, Saige could walk her nosy ass in his room and take advantage of Rebekah to read her mind, and figure out how to destroy her family (her brothers) Another example, Elena. Elena only told Rebekah that she looked beautiful in her red dress and gave Rebekah, her mothers locket was to just end up stabbing her in the back. Rebekah had actually trusted her and began to show her emotions in front of people. Not to mention, Rebekah had also told Elena many things that she wouldn't have told anyone else. I mean, Rebekah just wanted to go to her first highschool dance but Elena being the hypocrite she is, just had to do it because "she can't take anything to chance either". Yes, Rebekah may change her mind a lot before a big plan is completed but if something really means something to Rebekah, like the dance then she would never risk ruining it for herself. Elena should've cherished that moment with Rebekah because as Rebekah was growing up, she was taught to never show her emotions because it'll show her enemies or anyone really that she is vulnerable. Also, in that episode of the Vampire Diaries considering that Rebekah never opened herself up to anyone like that, Elena just had to be hypocritical. I'll do one last example, but there are many more examples of people who had betrayed Rebekah. One last example, Stefan. At first, I thought Stefan would have never rejected Rebekah like that but he only had that long talk and trapped her in the Salvatore home, was so that once he was able to get the information he wanted out of Rebekah by tricking her, he would just let her get daggered by Klaus. He legit blocked her from leaving and she could've ran out easily since she is an original, but she was basically paralyzed from shock and she knew that Klaus, her older brother could outrun her anytime. Anyways, Rebekah just wanted to love, to be loved, and have a family of her own, but in the end she got it. She was able to say goodbye to her brothers and be with Marcel, and Rebekah will forever be my favorite. Thank you for listening to my rant.

I agree whole-heartedly. Aside from Elena being terrible, I think Matt was a good guy. He never screwed Rebekah over, but she was also good for him. She actually took him to places across the globe, unlike any of his friends. Whenever Elena&Co had a destination outside of Mystic Falls, they always left him behind. Rebekah broadened Matt's horizons and seemed like she cared for his personal life, unlike Elena&Co.

Yo, this sibling relationship is so messed up. The constant lies, klaus's extreme fear of abandonment which makes him paranoid and possessive. This is only an explanation not an excuse for his horrific behaviour. Love both of these characters but daggering your sister for the most minor inconvenience was so uncalled for. Their bond is undeniable and i could never have the patience and loyalty the mikaelsons have for eachother because hell would I have ran for the hills the first time.

To people saying Klaus was an abusive brother. He isn’t, he looks at Rebecca like she’s a little girl because she’s his little sister. Just imagine if your older brother had control of the whole world, he wouldn’t let anyone touch you or hurt you. He trusts Bex with his daughter, he probably trusts her with his life. But when someone breaks that trust he tends to hurt much more easily because he doesn’t trust anyone. Whenever Rebecca fell in love or disappoints him, he tries to hide her away from the world, to not only protect her but himself so he always knows that his little sister is in a box sleeping and no one can harm her. At the end of the day they love each other more than anything.
