While there's no slacking in the acting, it's the writing that ultimately lets down these movies. Everyone dumping their backstory around the table almost makes sense because no time was given for them in part 1 save for their profiles being run down when captured but they could have spread those out in Scargiver. Nemesis had the most intriguing flashback with a surprising aspect about her gauntlets but they really did her dirty in part 2 given the way it plays out for her using them compared to her Child of Fire performance.

So Snyder pitched a Star Wars movie to Disney & Lucasfilm and they rejected it. Then WB & Whedon ruined his JL & his DCEU. So his master revenge plan is to make his own Star Wars/Firefly ripoff at Netflix. Unfortunately, his revenge plan has spectacularly failed in every way. Watching both Rebel Moon movies made me appreciate the recent Star Wars content even more. Plus, Firefly is still spectacular even to this day.
@eddiek81799 ай бұрын
Whedon didn't ruin his JL. Whedon just completed what was already shot. 85% of that movie is what Snyder has already shot. He was supposed to give a 2 hour movie and couldn't. And the Snyder cut was merely okay.

This is supposed to be a professional reviewer (more or less) and for them to have a positive take on this is clearly bad movie (which should be obvious to a serious movie lover) is at the very least, makes their stance questionable.
